What great record storage. Thank you again for the recommendation. I love it.

I really wanted to pick up that New Mastersounds album but they left the cover of Sneaker Pimps' Six Underground off the vinyl. I'll probably still grab it at some point.

Mailed 2/29 and arrived today. Gotta' love media mail.
But it's in great condition!

Live Life is my favorite Lizzy album. Great recording!

This is a phenomenal recording....

Nice, did you know Bitches Brew is turning 50 this year? (recorded in 1969, but released in '70)

I know I know...not vinyl. But this is my main music thread so wanted to toss this out there.

Shame me for probably posting in wrong area, it's okay

Just enjoyed it's bluntness and was worth sharing.

NSFW due to language (as title of song may directly suggest).

Maybe you should have added a note of F bombs.

My apologies. No intent to offend anybody. I respected it's bluntness. But I will do so shortly.

I laughed my butt off too. and sent it to some friends who would be OK with the content.

Some Bloomfield to start the night: Criminally under-celebrated Michael is. Love his playing.

Chicago’s own! I’ve heard bits and pieces and liked his playing. Butterfield band right? What’s a good album to really dig in?

Speaking of guitar players...

Said to say I don't have any Jeff Beck. What's the recommendation?

Quoted from waldo34:

Well Truth is great early bluesy Beck with Rod Stewart on vocals. Blow By Blow is a desert island album for me and considered his high point followed closely by Wired (they’re both instrumental and more jazz/rock- jazz fusion). It’s funny, he’s my one of my favorite guitar players yet his catalogue is pretty limited because he’s got some cringe worthy stuff in it. Anything live is usually pretty great too. He did a live album with the Jan Hammer group which had some of the worst singing ever but also some guitar playing that is not of this world. He also did some rockabilly stuff that’s pretty great.

Butterfield Blues Band and East West.

Also Super Session and The Electric Flag.

I listen to a lot of records, but I also use them to sample, scratch, mix, and make beats and whatnot.

Here's my latest project, a 30-minute mix a made for my 6-year-old son using (mostly) 90s hip-hop beats and classic cartoon samples (Scooby Doo, Transformers, Superman, Batman, etc.)

You can check out the mix here: (**If you're going to stream it then click on track 13, which is the entire mix playing continuously**)

And here's a little promo video I did if you want to see what its about before downloading.

I get pumped song one. Nicotine, Valium, Vicodin, Marijuana, Ecstasy, and Alcohol..... C-C-C-C-C-Cocaine! With Rob Halford singing harmonies no less. That’s some profound shit.

Always love when you post the Zappa as it reminds me of arguments with a friend that passed. He loved Zappa and I loved Dylan, the high school arguments.

Ah...the scourge of many an other LP Sleeve! The bringer of subtle warps in other records...

Long ago I made a cardboard bolster with a cutout for that stupid Zipper.
