I have some coins inherited from my Grandfather, nothing seriously "rare" but some oldies.

Among them are some 1800's vintage Morgan Silver Dollars with New Orleans mint markings, some Liberty Head Dollars, etc.

PM me and I can shoot some photos and email them to you.

My Dad is an avid coin collector. I dabble in it some, Some of those 1800's Morgans are worth some bucks, others are barely worth more then melt value. Either way they are cool. I love holding a coin that is 100+ years old.

They are amazing to hold and think about where they came from. I have valued my one Morgan "CC" at $200 - it's in really nice shape. Most of the Morgans I have are - only one is rubbed slightly from use, the others look to have not been used much.

Imagine throwing that on the bar, "I'll have a double whiskey!"

You or Dad interested? Maybe you're Dad knows someone? They are not being "enjoyed" sitting in a box here with me and it's time to share them with someone who appreciates them.

I'm not a coin collector, but I do have a few dozen Spanish "reales" from a 1600's shipwreck. It's interesting to own a little piece of history.

Wow, that's even more to think about, an old ship going down with the loot. You should display those breaking out of an old model ship's hull!!!
