Perhaps "opportunist" is more appropriate.
I generally dislike folks who buy up products in short supply just to gouge people for a quick profit (without adding any value)....
Perhaps Im just a bit jaded since I was out trying to find .22lr this weekend....and the opportunists/scumbags have decimated the supply.

Ive not seen it in Walmart yet, buts its finally showing up at Gander Mountain here. Still elevated prices, but not as bad as last year.
Right after Sandy Hook, 22 disappeared. Our local walmart had the same group of clowns waiting for the stock to show up, buying it all for $20/brick, then posting it on gunbroker for $50/brick.... been going on for YEARS 
Luckily, I did my panic buying slightly before that and got 10 cases for $259/case. But thats running low (i shoot a lot of steel plate competitions.... and since Ive recently gotten hooked on Supressors, I've been burning through .22 like crazy!)
