Haha. You should try living in Sask.

Try Newfoundland.

Has anyone here made a trip to the States solely to purchase a pin or two (or five)?

The more I think about it, the more I think it would be worth my while to drive to PA for Pinfest and come back with a couple games.

2,500 KM each way and a ferry crossing too, but I honestly think it would be worth it.

Aside from a few lucky stashes I have found, all I see like 1 Pin for sale a month in the province.

I just posted offering to help out. I'm going up to the Quebec City Show May 16 & 17. If stuff gets here in April or early May. My 5' x 8' trailer is going up empty. So also if any locals have pins for sale, & you can do a deal. They can hitch a free ride, @ owners risk.

Will keep in mind, thanks John.

Long shot, but does anyone have a fathom or haunted house head/backbox only? Empty and beat to hell is fine.

Just picked up a Flintstones in a lot deal, and probably willing to let it go. Display is near dead, machine was overall working fine last I played it - which was ages ago, but the coin mechs are toast and I had no keys or drill. I'm in NL, but willing to ship. I'll post pics and test it fully come the weekend.

Here is my Flintstones I mentioned. I want $2500 to part with it and if she doesn't sell I just keep her and fix it up. DMD is partially dead. Coin mechs not working. Needs lots of lights replaced, a flipper coil and some issues with the drop down targets. Overall, looks pretty decent and works well. I have not lookied into any of the issues as well. Cab had a lock bar at one point. My kids are protesting the sale but I'm so low on room and have too many projects. Located in Newfoundland, but willing to ship.

Flintstones is sold and headed to Quebec. Also have a Medusa and a Pinbot shipping out, which may then be followed up by a F-14. I've decided to really clean house on my stuff and with some nice stuff gone, I'm digging into the projects. I'm in Newfoundland, so you're obviously looking at shipping.

Not really actively selling any of this stuff, but if anyone has interest just PM me and I'll make it a priority to dig it out eventually.

Projects:
Bugs Bunny Birthday Bash - Decent shape, just needs a complete shop job. Have a new set of ramps. PF is partially tore down.
Wild Fyre - Blowing PF fuse.
Gulf Stream - Was working.

Major Projects: (Mechanicals are probably rusty on all of these.)
Panthera
Fireball II - PF and backglass are shredded.
Joker Poker - No boards, backbox is in horrible shape.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Contact

Body only, no head: (Mechanicals are probably rusty on all of these.)
Embryon
Fathom - PF is shot.
Flash

Populated PF Only:

Flash
Volcano
Mata Hari
Blackout
Captain Fantastic
Big Guns
Bone Busters

Bare PF:

Hang Glider

Parts:

All hang glider mechanicals and plastics.

Lots of arcade machines as well. Moon Patrol, Kangaroo, Wacko. All projects, mostly untested. I have like 40 other classics, but need to decide what to keep. Plus classic (pre Jamma) arcade PCBs. Hundreds of them. All the Pin PCB stuff has been sold though.

Way more pin stuff too, just finally sorting through it.

#3461 3 years ago

Still cleaning through my stuff and moving projects I'm never going to get to. I had a couple inquiries about this, and am looking through my messages to see if i can find them.

Body only, no head / backbox. Shape isn't overall horrible, but she's no beauty queen either. Major, major restoration.

I don't know how to price this so I'm open to suggestions or offers. I'm in Newfoundland and willing to ship.

Uploading more images and will add to post.

So, I'm still continuing to make room and move some of the projects that I cannot seem to get around to.

I'm in Newfoundland so these will have to be shipped. I've shipped lots of machines, bodies and populated playfields over the past year. You're looking at roughly 200-300 to ship a Machine Depo to Depo (Day & Ross) depending on location. Playfields are around $120 to ship.

US exchange has things kind of skewed, and some things may even be priced at what they're worth to me. Plus packing time and the three hour round trip to a depo (gas aint cheap). If anything seems outrageous, feel free to shoot me an offer.

Space Station - $2200
Running and nice overall shape, needs to be shopped.
Known issues: Adjustment Failure on startup. No batteries installed and I haven't even tried new ones in there. Kickout on the right docking station not working. Not registering coins, so I just boot into freeplay. Some tape on top of translight.
Pics here:

Gulf Stream (EM) - $500
Was working when I picked it up, but needed to be shopped. Has sat for well over a year.
Pics here:
http://imgur.com/a/Ksb1z

Wild Fyre - $500
Think there's a transistor issue. I never finished troubleshooting. Won't launch ball.
Pics here:

Everything below needs pics to be added.

Fire! - $2000
Running, needs to be shopped.
Known issues: Some problems with the lamp Matrix, all of building lights not working. Plastic target are typical at top of ramps.

Bugs Bunny Birthday Bash - $1800
Was running, currently partially torn down and in the midst of shopping. Has set of replacement ramps.
Known issues - Tweety ramp was cracked. Lamp matrix issue. Drop down target needs a replacement part.

Coundown (SS) - $500
Big project. Not completely sure if all boards and displays are present.

Panthera - $500
Big project. Not completely sure if all boards and displays are present. Someone has first dibs on this when I take pics.

Close Encounters - $500
Big project. Not completely sure if all boards and displays are present.

Joker Poker - $400
Big project. Not completely sure if all boards and displays are present. Head is in rough shape.

Capt. Fantastic and The Brown Dirt Cowboy Pinball Populated Playfield - $200
Gottlieb Volcano Pinball Populated Playfield - $200
Williams San Francisco Populated Playfield - $200
Hang Glider Populated Playfield - $200
Williams Fiesta Populated Playfield - $200
Gottlieb Bone Busters Inc. Pinball Populated Playfield - $400

Few projects. I have a Bugs Bunny. PF is partially stripped down. Boards are working. Small lamp matrix issue and drop down targets need a part. Brand new ramps included which cost like 300+ and I think are sold out now. $1500

Totem. Beautiful shape. Cabinet restored with professional automotive paint. Needs to be shopped. Having some issues current, I believe the connectors need to be repinned. $1200.

Pics on request.

Project Joker Poker - $500 Shipped

(More if it's shipping past Ontario - depo to depo only)

A no board, no display joker poker. Head is garbage, but I have a Charlies Angels head in decent shape I can throw in so you can rig something together if you're going for a full restore / repaint (as you probably should).

I had planned to do a full restore with all the new CPR parts for this game, but I'm in the situation where I can't see me touching any projects in the next five years. Includes glass but no legs.

I forgot to grab under PF pics and will do so when I can. See pics. She's shot, but could live again.

A no board, no leg Count Down.

Still pushing my projects out into the hands of people who actually stand a shot of restoring them. She's rough, but could live again.

I have access to a second body (no head) I could pick up and include for another $300 as well (shipped).

Anyone need a Contact body with a populated playfield? $450 shipped CAD. Flash with same, $300 shipped. Six Million Dollar Man with same, $300 shipped. Depo to depo as far as Ontario only, extra to ship further.

#5240 2 years ago

I have a Medusa I might sell but would definitely trade, for those of you not turned off by shipping trades. Works perfectly. All original, but the PF is the amazing for an original. Lots of new parts. Cab is beat and the bg could be better but looks perfect lighted up.

Also have a Bone Buster PF and a Solar Ride PF (both populated), I'm looking to move in parts or as whole.

Oh, also a Mati Hari PF, pretty worn and partially stripped.

I have two System 1 projects for sale with a bunch of parts.

Totem 1979 - Gottlieb System 1
This machine has a beautiful new restenciled paint job. Done with automotive paints and a professional clear. You will not find a nicer looking machine. Backglass looks amazing and the playfield is great.

Also comes with a second cabinet with a populated playfield for parts.

This was working perfectly within the past two years with a Pascal all in board, but the connectors do need to be repinned. The connection was iffy sometimes. I pulled the board to use in another project, so this is sold without boards. I paid $1500 for this machine when I picked it up. It's just that nice.

Joker Poker 1978 - Highly saught after game in horrible condition. Ideally needs a complete restore. Head is rough physically so I'll include an extra head (Charlie's Angels) if you restore and do a repaint / stencil. Playfield is rough as well and backglass has an extreme amount of flaking. It's a major, mojor project and also needs boards.

Parts:

1979 Solar Ride Populated Playfield - Another System 1, should present a lot of good spare parts.

Boards. While the machines are being sold without boards, I think I do have some around. I will look for them and include them if possible. This include displays as well.

Will only include one set of legs unless I can scrounge a second.

Everything is in storage, so if you have serious interest I will grab some pictures. $1500 Shipping from Newfoundland included.

I have a Demo Man for sale. 4k, shipping included (depo to depo from Newfoundland). Have shipped lots. Slightly overpriced, but I hate shipping and the work / cost that goes into it. Will not ship until April 24th due to work schedule, maybe April 14th if the stars align. I need to take more / better pics. Works perfectly. Had an issue recently with random resetting. Was probably just a loose cable, but when I reseated everything I also bought a kahr.us WPC power fix daughter board. No issues since.

Players condition. No major flaws, but shes not a beauty queen either.

#6312 1 year ago
Quoted from Dee-Bow:

should probably wait until you are able to ship it or at least be able to post pictures of it before you try and sell it! I love the "works perfectly...except for the recent random resetting..prob just a loose cable tho!"

A: I live in the sticks. There are two days in April I can ship something. There is one day in May, then one day in June.
B: Learn to read. I had an issue, fixed it and installed the Power Board on the off chance it was something else. Dozens of hours of play since. No issues.

This is how I sell things. If you don't like it, fine. If other people don't like it then it won't sell. Simple as that.

Back on topic, crappy basic pictures here:

http://imgur.com/a/n4S4N

Still need to take full photos. Lots of nibbles, no bites, so lets up the ante by dropping price to $3800. I'm breaking down all my game to move, so I'd rather sell prior to that.

#6315 1 year ago

You paid me a deposit, I didn't get you more pics in a timely manner. Absolutely agree I'm in the wrong on that. When you paid a deposit, I said I would refund if you weren't happy with all the pics. You requested your money back and I sent it the same day. Am I wrong on that?

That lot of stuff involved machines in three different spots, which was a horrible idea for me to sell in the middle of winter. Again - my fault, I'm in the wrong.

But at no point was I trying to scam or mislead you. Genuinely sorry it didn't work out, and genuinely sorry you feel that way.

I don't understand why you sent me a polite message the other day asking about stuff and then attack me here?

#6322 1 year ago
Quoted from Dee-Bow:

Also, I would STILL be in on the deal with Linkage if I can see the pics of what's being sent! I still have the funds and he was a solid dude and sent the deposit back that day. Just better communication this time!

Thanks. Ill message you tonight see if we can work something out.

#9264 6 months ago

Selling a project Sea Hunt. Rare EM, like 450 made. No testing done, fairly big project.

My worry with the cab is sourcing any of the relays that are shot. Some stuff is actually super clean. Backglass is mint. The PF is in really nice shape, but covered in a ton of grime (I cleaned a small spot). PF has small amount of that white mildew that is fairly common here for stuff stored poorly. I cleaned up a fair bit of it, but the of should be torn down completely. Lots of pics for those interested.

I need the room and want this gone to someone who will show it love. Figure around $800 shipping included, but open to offers. Will also trade this and arcade projects for other projects.

#9277 6 months ago

In addition to the Sea Hunt, also have a project Granny & the Gators (no vidiot board). Also just dug out a Stern Stingray Head, Atari Airborne Avenger Head and a Zaccaria House of Diamonds Body.

Shaking a lot of stuff loose. If anyone has interest PM me your email and I'll grab photos. Willing to ship (located in NL). Ballpark $300 to Ontario. All are decent players shape, nothing spectacular, but playing well.

1976 Volley, $1200. Rare sample game with a different playfield than the usual production model.

1978 Bally Lost World, $1500. Player four display has some fading and could use replacement if she's a long term keeper. Playfield has a lot or poorly done touchups. Cab is fairly rough cosmetically. Backglass is covered with mylar or something on the rear.

1986 Gottlieb Hollywood Heat, $1800 Backglass is pretty faded and some plastics are cracked.

1985 Gottlieb Bounty Hunter, $2500 LEDed. Freeplay rom installed. Backglass has a couple touchups.

1979 Time Warp, $1500. Homemade backglass, vinyl and plexi.

1979 Joker Poker, $2000. Lisy1 Replacement Board. Homemade backglass, vinyl and plexi. Repainted cab from handmade stencils.

1985 Bally Beat The Clock $2000.

1972 Allied Leisure Sea Hunt $2000. Odd game, running well. Had to custom modify some legs.

Surprised Joker Poker hasn't gotten any nibbles or offers, so I'll throw in shipping at $1800.

#10286 68 days ago
Quoted from extraballingtmc:

Pretty sure I know a couple guys local to me who would buy that.
What’s the details on it? Ie. condition etc

Game completely rebuilt from the ground up. Is still a players condition game, but she plays flawlessly. Displays are bring and clean.

Plastics are repos, backglass is vinyl and the head is a repurposed Charlies Angles heads. Stenciling was hand done based on the original, not a pinball pimp or similar stencil.

Running a LISY1 replacement MPU.

Fantasitc game, looks and plays great. Enjoy as is, or take the restoration further with a working example.

Need a boring rare game for you collection?

Here it is, your once in a lifetime opportunity to own a rare piece of horrible pinball history.

This EM game sports a large mirror that allows the player to view the horizontal playfield located in lower cabinet. Several plastics produce a kind of "floating text" image on the glass. Reminds me of Sega Time traveller really, on a much less exciting scale,

Here's the kicker - two joysticks with a flipper button on top of each. It's called a shaker game because literally the game allows you to shake the playfield up and down. Why shake? Who knows. Given how we play pinball you would have thunk a nudging game would have made more sense.

The game has no plunger. Instead, the ball rolls along a launch track at the top of the playfield and is dropped into play by pressing either flipper button. The chain track actually runs from game start until end. As we fixed it up that issues was driving us nuts - until we realised how it's supposed to operate. Ugh.

She can be a little finicky on times, but is running well. Playfield is beautiful and pristine. Exterior of the cab is a little rough though. Had to modify two legs to hit the hole spacing for the bolts.

It's rare and it's awesome to try - a couple times. After... meh. Honestly it belongs in a huge collection or a museum.

$1500 CAD OBO and includes shipping to the nearest R&L or Day & Ross depo.

Ask if you have questions. TONS OF PICS available.

#10556 39 days ago

Can't believe I posted Sea Hunt without naming the game. Ugh. I'll do 850 shipped for the next couple days. Really don't want to move it into storage.
