New to the forum and am looking to purchase my first pinball. I have always wanted one and now I have the room with my new house.

I am looking for a sci-fi or horror themed pin.

For example:
Tales from the Crypt
Close Encounters
Jurassic Park
Indiana Jones
Etc.

Looking to spend up to $3K.

Pin must be in Ontario, I live in Sudbury.

I can make a trip to pick up the pin.

Please let me know price, condition and where you are located.

Thanks,
Ted

Anyone know a good shipper service to get a pin from the US to Canada?

Quoted from yanek2rank:

Selling a nice Swords of Fury with clear coated pf. Game is 100% functional with leds throughout. On kijiji in Calgary for 3600, would take 3300 or could be open to trades +/- cash. Would be interested in anything Elvira, tmnt, tron (even arcades) and perhaps a few others.

Anyone know a good shipper to use from Calgary to Sudbury, Ontario?

Would need a pin picked up at house.

I've heard BW is a solid pin, but I have 3 little kids and a wife that share my house with me, so I figured I'd stay away from that theme for now. Of course, I still included Starship Trooper on my list and its probably not the most kid friendly game either. I realize that's a bit of flawed logic lol.

Baywatch is really an amazing game.

Pricing Question.
What would most of you pay for a good condition Jurassic Park? Not a game I've been actively seeking but one came up and my 5yr old son would lose it if I bought this game.
Thanks

3500 to 4500 depending on condition and mods.

I am located in northern Ontario and looking to buy my first NIB game. Which distributor should I go through, Player one or Nitro? Or does it matter?

Looks really nice, just a heads up, it took me months to sell mine and I ate my shirt doing it. I hope you have more luck.

One sold for 7500ish in Ontario not too long ago.

New JP from Stern looks to be a winner. I expect the FS ads to pile up!

Quoted from chaz009:

I’ve been offered a Transformers LE by more than one person for my TSPP (even though it was not on my short list of pins I’d trade it for).
I am as big of a fan of Transformers as I am Simpsons and I heard the LE Transformers is much better than the Pro. What are chances I’d regret trading TSPP for Transformers LE?

Don't do it.

Too expensive for Gray's, he's a cheap ass.

He wants a blackout for nothing, hence why he's been looking forever.

$8333 per pin doesnt seem like a great deal.

Quoted from KnockerPTSD:

I may have to drive to Ottawa next week. I posted a wanted ad on Kjiji in the Ottawa area looking for a Blackout. I know I've seen a few out that way on my adventures. If anyone has a Blackout between Hamilton and Ottawa, I would love to pick one up on my way home. Cheers.

How much are you willing pay?

Seems people have offered you the pin but you don't want to pay.

If you can find a crane or a crane-like man to hoist it out of my basement, I might be persuaded to move mine.

Bro do you even lift?

Hobbit is probably the heaviest game ever made. Well, besides Hercules.

I actually played Blackout last night and got into Blackout Mode and damn yeah that's a fun game, I can see why people love it.

It has a cool light show when you "achieve" black out. Great early pin.

Anyone bailing on their AIQLE? Not that I'm looking for one, but allocation for Canada (or even North America) must have been lower since they were gone in a 'snap'. Or maybe some buyers just have a hold on every LE that comes out...
Rob

I got a LE but I ordered as soon as the teaser was out.

Quoted from Haelryan:

Stupid Question of the week, where does everyone buy replacement pinballs? The actual metal balls use to play the machine and how oftn do you replace the ones in your game? Is there someone who sells in Canada and what is the cost?

Ball Baron on eBay.

You kept the deposit because they backed out? Is that legal? Pretty dirty IMO.

I think you are confused how deposits work...

Tsce still available nib.
Rip.

Game looks fun but JJP missed the mark with pricing on it. For a game aimed at families, why make it so expensive...

Quoted from chaz009:

Do Canadians still have options for Fathom Mermaid Edition still? Nitro is sold out for good. What about the TNA Remake CE? What options do we have?
Munsters Pro is still available but I've received a really good offer so it will likely be gonezo soon (if he wants to proceed).

You can only order TNA remake direct through Spooky.

Quoted from aeonblack:

Hopefully that change means more people get to enjoy it, it's an awesome game. In reality, I think the only thing changing is people might be feeling the pinch a bit more, especially after christmas.

People just don't want to pay NIB prices for a used pin now.

#21792 1 year ago
Quoted from aeonblack:

Nobody ever has, but supply and demand. And no matter what people say, there's a reason why Godzilla dethroned MM and it hasn't regained that position. That will always fetch a price.

Except there are three sitting right now for about NIB prices. Prices are changing...

The market demand for pins seems to be lowered a bit.

Foo Fighters looks great and Nitro still has pros in stock. Usually new games have been sold out upon release. Pretty telling... the market is changing a bit but we will see.
