I purchased a Williams Viking pinball game from Toronto Coin Machine Exchange. Had it shipped to Edmonton from their store in Hamilton (even though I am in Vancouver for work and can't play it right now - long story).

Just wanted to say that it was a painless experience and they were great people to deal with. There was even an issue with the shipping quote and they honoured their quote to the end. I would not hesitate to deal with them again.

It was the first pin I have ever shipped so it was nice to have good luck with the process.

I grabbed smoke's IJ and have to say dealing with him was great. Thanks buddy.

Vancouver to Saskatoon isn't that far - lol

I'm glad he helped me load it in the truck. Heaviest pin I have bought to date.

Safe Cracker just sounds like it should be a heavy game.

I have a Gottlieb Amazing Spiderman for sale - $1300. A Williams T2 for sale - $2700. And possibly an Atari Superman. All in Vancouver BC.

If there is interest please PM me.

Thanks

Quoted from extraballingtmc:

Txs guys. Gonna explore the Portland deal a bit more. Long drive but no risk. Never been to Portland either

Coming into this late - Portland is an excellent Pinball city and I'm sure there are some pindeals to be had.
When I lived in Vancouver I would sometimes daytrip to Portland, pick up two pins, and drive back. Even better if you can drive down Friday and back Saturday. Good food, good beer, = win.
And as you said you can look at and evaluate the pin.

Seattle is also a good Pinball city. And closer.

Anyone from Calgary coming to Edmonton?
I got 100$ if you can transport a pin i just bought.
I can pick it up in Edmonton if you didn't want to deliver it to my house. (IE: if you were coming to Arkadium or elsewhere)
Hit me up with a PM. Thanks

Quoted from QuickSilverShelby:

I had a game shipped from Australia to Calgary, Alberta. Aside from being a bit of concerned on my part, about it making it here safe and sound, it was pretty easy. Shipping wasn't inexpensive but the seller crated the game up and it arrived in perfect shape.
QSS

I had a game shipped from France to Edmonton - was fine. Cost the seller around 300CAD to ship. This was 4 years ago.

Quoted from pinballjah:

Game is in Aurora ON, I use Lewiston as my location as it helps with sales from my Pinside store as Americans prefer to buy within the US.

Why don't American's buy in Canada? We're like Mexico North.

Their dollar is worth so much more - If I lived in the US I would be buying and bringing back for sure....

Hell in my experience they don't really travel to Canada or like crossing the border.

Check out https://www.powermate.info/

They're a Canadian company and work better than Escalara IMO

#23100 10 months ago

Mine was 3k I think - all in.
I bought it 10 years ago....

They are priced similar to the Escalara but I found them more stable on stairs (bigger footprint) and I like supporting Canadian companies.

Edited to add - Mine's the L1 and I bought it direct from the dealer when I was in Toronto. They gave me the large footplate for free. And so far the battery is still going strong. I use it for lifting stuff into the pickup all the time.

Every time I bring the PowerMate out and move a friends fridge/stove/washer/dryer/pinballmachine/toolbox by myself they just stand there and say they need one. Then they find out the cost and they just call me. lol.

It doesn't matter which brand - they are a game changer.
