Shipped multiple games from the west to Halifax. Day and Ross are consistently the cheapest - average around 250.00 delivered to the house - I cheat a bit as I have access to a fork lift so I always decline the lift gate option (another 50.00 dollars) - however I know the only option for the truck delivering to porters lake has a lift gate so I have never once had to fire up the bobcat. I find basically the quoted price is the same whether the game is located in Toronto or Calgary. Based on my research no shipping company will accept responsibility or liability for the true value of the machines - I have confirmed with my insurance company that my home policy covers the machine but knock on wood I have never had to make a claim. There is a trade-off with what I consider a pretty fair price to ship from Calgary to Halifax - it is quite common based on my experiences for the game to end up on the wrong trailer along the way and a good stiff drink is required when the shipping company finally admits they are trying to track the game down - the games are actually tracked at a trailer level so if someone forgets to put the game in the right trailer the paperwork and game become separated. As long as the games are properly packaged (thank you @pingod) it usually only takes a couple of days for them to get back on track.

I tried uship once as well - would not recommend for pinball transportation - if I remember correctly there were a couple of hidden fees as well

Quoted from Paseb:

anyone with an extra polks psw10 sub for sale?
i installed one on my roadshow yesterday and really like the result.

I have a couple of extras as i put Pinwoofer amps in a couple of machines - they are basically brand new - you can have one for 50 plus shipping if you like

Hoping to trade Tales of the Arabian Knights and Pirates - Stern before everyone gets excited

Better pics are available - kijiji and i agree to disagree on picture quality and sizing

Pirates is gone

Quoted from Saltimbanco:

I'm shocked that I'm actually pondering if Dan has sold his game yet, instead of thinking why there's always new strippers..!

We should start a new lottery game - how many days before Dan buys another pinball, and then for the super jackpot you have to correctly guess the number of days (maybe hours might be better) before Dan turns around and sells the machine.

It won't be.
But the Pirates LE will be soon.

“It won’t be” from Dan means some time next month

It would be fun to have a flowchart of all the games Dan has bought and sold - sometimes i think he buys the same game back before the owner even gets its home

When I saw 15 new messages in this forum I assumed Dan had decided to go ahead and buy the 170 game container sale in Italy - not yet I guess

Dan would sell you a car but then most likely buy it back before you had a chance to drive off the lot
