I just hit my usual filter on the marketplace, anywhere in Canada, Solid State and 8 of 15 are LEs. More than 50% it seems like by far the easist pins to aquire used are LEs. I can't even begin to think of why that is, it could be people buying to flip, do that many people get sucked in to FOMO? No doubt the whole LE thing works but I just don't get it.

With most luxury goods (and LEs are the most luxury of already luxury goods), you have to buy everything or most everything coming out to stay on "the list" to get an allocation.
Ferrari is the most well known for doing it, but all luxury goods dealers with more buyers than slots do it.
Quoted from Nintegageo:That's diabolical! Man, they really don't make it hard to hate their compandy, do they?
It's nothing personal... just business to keep your best customers happy.
I would also add that the higher production of LEs (~1k now?), certainly adds volume to the trading going on, so you'll see them more in general.
Have a players condition Theatre of Magic for sale.
Color DMD, leds, mirror blades, and upgraded eddy boards. $10,900. Mostly looking for cash and space right now but always willing to look at trades.
There is one here in PEI for sale.
Quoted from Kroshon:Anyone have a Guardians of the galaxy they want to sell or trade? Cheers.

I understand the marketing and how they create the illusion. I just can’t believe it still works.
That Wasaga show was a blast. By the sound of it they will likely do it again next year, probably at a bigger venue.
Banzai Run was fun to play for the first time, the upper playfield definitely is fun, I guess the issue with the game would be that you don't care about anything other than getting up there. Lots of other cool stuff at the show, some originals, the alice in wonderland concept.
Biggest let down probably was Joust, something that sounds great but doesn't really work in reality.
Yes it's was a great show for the first time and I am sure over the years it will get bigger great job too you both DAVE and Rob keep up with this show

I actually enjoyed Joust although it's way more fun with 2 people and nearly impossible with one person.
I agree on Banzai Run, I played 4 games and all I wanted to do was get to the top. What a treat to get to play that game, I had never seen anywhere before.

I'm not a crazy person, played it with another person, don't get me wrong I appreciate the novelty of it and differences, and given when it was released it's still impressive. I probably went in with too high of an expectation.
I just took this one on trade.

Any chance it's going to make a guest star at Hidden spot? Out of my price range but I'd love to try one one of these days.

Probably not, it’s a tank to move around.
I thought about it though.
Feel free to come by and play it.

Quoted from BMHouze:On a side note, how was Pinfest for game sales?
Were there buyers?
Anything on the higher end go?
Some went, a T2 that was $6500 went, a cocktail Night Moves went, a Flipper Pool went. Those are 3 I know off.......my DE Simpsons at 3700 did not.

Simpsons played well, I was tempted.

Oh I didn't mean to imply you were crazy.. I guess I went in with low expectations as I dont generally like table top pins.
Quoted from transprtr4u:What condtion is it in?
It's a survivor......

I dunno... I often wonder how many ppl have been seriously injured or ceased to be because they were moving a STTNG. Lol.

Yes this is true they are not lite that's for sure but great game too own

I had to take the basement door off to get that monster in and out. It's a beast!

There are a few that are heavier. Woz is one. Ruined my hardwood floor getting that beast in.
MM P3 is just about the heaviest modern game out there. It's funny to read about folks trying to set it up but they can't even lift the back to put the legs on.

RFM is heavy AF
You haven't known pain until you've moved The Hobbit up from a basement through a narrow stairwell. With 4 people it's still a nightmare. Great game, really enjoyed it, but it was so damn heavy.
Glad to hear the Wasaga show was a success!
Quoted from Canuck_pinhead:RFM is heavy AF
Yeah I’ve owned one. But the fact that the head and cab separate completely for transport makes it manageable.
You know what is not heavy?

Tranquilize had this rad electric jack/appliance truck when I picked up #PM from him. The jack part was pretty slow, but he moved it up the stairs completely on his own!
I want to know more about it because Google isn't helpful (or at least I'm not using the right search terms).
Right now my games are on the main floor, but I know one day they'll be in a basement I'm sure.....

What northerndude said. Check out Escalera model RLA-EW. I have that. It’s amazeballs!

That was an escalara, owned by rwmech5. Shout out to him. If anyone gets a chance to deal with him, he's a great guy. He went way above and beyond for me.
Check out https://www.powermate.info/
They're a Canadian company and work better than Escalara IMO

How much does one cost?! Website says “ request pricing”… so you know it must be a crazy price if they are too embarrassed to put it on their site!

The Escalara looks to be around $2500US, so that's probably a ballpark.

I had one pull me down the stairs , i flipped over it and the game and dolly landed on me. Somehow i was not injured.

Holy crap! Glad you weren't hurt. That has been my concern with them as well. Same thing also happened to someone in Ottawa. I think, in that case, the battery died which contributed to it. Happened many years ago.
Mine was 3k I think - all in.
I bought it 10 years ago....
They are priced similar to the Escalara but I found them more stable on stairs (bigger footprint) and I like supporting Canadian companies.
Edited to add - Mine's the L1 and I bought it direct from the dealer when I was in Toronto. They gave me the large footplate for free. And so far the battery is still going strong. I use it for lifting stuff into the pickup all the time.
