Quoted from transprtr4u:So should you stay? Or should you go?
Little concerned about the size of the place being 2,500 square feet. Doesn't seem like a big enough space for all these pins, vendors, general public, etc.

If you are just running a tournament would be no problem but if you are running a show looks pretty tight. YEGPIN has 28,000 Sq ft a person capacity of 3000. Arkadium Retro Arcade is 5,000 Sq ft and has a person capacity of 150 people so I tend to agree.

It's not very big but I think vendors will be outside (says rain or shine).
My guess is they got this place cheap and it's a trial balloon so to speak to see what the interest level is in a show. I'm just happy it's happening, Ontario hasn't seen any kind of pinball or arcade show in forever.
I don't want to speak for Dave and Rob but kool1 has it, first year trial in almost every regard. I'm just glad someone is stepping up to take the chance, if it fizzles, then hopefully there's not much loss. If it sails, then maybe next time its in a bigger facility.
I sure do not mean this as any kind of insult, but those with concerns are more then welcome to step up, and offer better solutions and get involved.
I've already offered up my AA and any game they wish from my collection for a tournament game.....can the folks within driving range say this?
I have mass respect for anyone trying to setup these kind of shows. The level of planning, effort and dedication it takes to pull it off it is hard to put into words unless you have done it. You are better off to go small and continually increase in future years if you have the support of the community, donors, volunteers, and sponsors. If the support is there the show will organically grow sometimes to the point where you wonder why you want to do it anymore

All of this - 100%. These guys are among a handful of people that could pull it off also.
Sadly the GTA has probably priced out an event like this until it can get bigger with more commitments and sponsors. I really hope people come up and support!

I second that, amazing game. If you like the movie, it's integration into the game is amazing. Their support is some of the best in the industry as well.

Hey guys! I’m looking to ship a Rfm populated playfield to the USA potentially.
He is Lincoln City, Oregon. I’m in NB, Canada.
Would he have to worry about border charges? Or can I just simply ship it?
Thanks!
Richard
I would just ship it ...
Fedex would work ... would put used pinball Part on the descriptor.
Make sure you check the signature required box .
Quoted from northerndude:Fedex & UPS is nightmare coming into canada, I would never.
Too many charges
I’m shipping to him.
Quoted from Richard-NBA-SF2:I’m shipping to him.
WHOOPS, my bad. Oh yeah, giver shit. Helps if you write "Made in USA" on it also
Quoted from northerndude:WHOOPS, my bad. Oh yeah, giver shit. Helps if you write "Made in USA" on it also
Ok! Will he be hit with the same border fees as us?
Make sure to write on the invoice - MADE IN USA -
It will likely be tax free.

Big Game is easily in the top 3 of classic widebody games. Designed by Harry Williams, it has fantastic shots and great rules. Very challenging and rewarding. Excellent competition game too. If anyone is at all interested in this era of games I'd highly recommend it (biased as I own one).
Great BG too! - https://user.xmission.com/~daina/images/js/bgame_bg.jpg
