Is it the best Walking Dead LE in the world and if we ask for the price we can't afford it?

I wonder why someone lists games for sale in Canada, when they live on Yankee land

Why does he list Lewiston, NY as location?

#22406 1 year ago

What does it matter if the games he sells are in Canada?

This is a Canadian games for sale thread. The title of the thread should make it obvious. Games that are not already in Canada cost way more in shipping and then you have to add brokerage and taxes. Not the same. It’s WHY we have our own thread. Otherwise just go shopping in the Pinside marketplace.

#22408 1 year ago

He has sold many games here so it is obvious to most people on here.

Granted not everyone but pinballjah is posting in this thread so it stands to reason that the game is in Canada.

I have no doubt in my mind TwilightZone knows that too as he's been a member of this thread for a very long time.

Perhaps pinballjah is selling for someone else who is also in Canada as he does not say the game is his? Yes, he could have added a location but not including it only hurts the sale possibilities. Same as not including a price.

perhaps him having that location as his location also hurts his sale chances when not including a location but that is his choice.

Policing the location people have noted in their profile is ridiculous and in this case is likely only because of his post a few days ago which is petty.

When did not listing a price become a thing?

Are people just lonely for human contact, and want people to communicate with them?

Or are they actually embarrassed at their asking price? <---- if this is the answer, just list your high dollar price and mark it OBO.

Never bought from the guy so I have no idea where he is.

Someone asked why it matters. Well it's about 50% more to buy from States. You need to add exchange plus taxes when you bring it over. Then add shipping if you aren't picking up.

This is a CDN for sale thread. Think it should stick to Canadian games; otherwise what's the point of the thread?

Game is in Aurora ON, I use Lewiston as my location as it helps with sales from my Pinside store as Americans prefer to buy within the US.

#22421 1 year ago

Okay the ad shows Châteauguay, QC so was a little confused for sure...

I think he's talking about his "priceless" TWD he's trying to sell. He's not vouching for the dude in Quebec.

It's an achievement for ImNotNorm, after years of perfectly placed and applicable GIFs.

Why don't American's buy in Canada? We're like Mexico North.

Their dollar is worth so much more - If I lived in the US I would be buying and bringing back for sure....

Hell in my experience they don't really travel to Canada or like crossing the border.

A major factor is the lack of passports. It's odd how many Americans don't have one considering every Canadian ink ow likely does.

Americans are lazy.

Also agree many don’t have paaaports and are further intimidated by the border.

More shipping concerns and the costs from Canada. I use USPS anyway and it ships from Sanborn NY.

I was a dealer at the casino in Windsor for 19 years. We were dealing Craps around the year 2000 and had people from Michigan believe that we had moose, polar bears, and actual igloos here(in Windsor). They believed that we have bear dumps (like The Great Outdoors) that you could sit in your car and watch them forage. One of the supervisors told them the truth.

Don't spill the beans, we need more pinball in Canada, not less

But you are not wrong. If you lived near the border you could get some great deals if you drove north for them. I am just waiting on CAD to approach par with USD again to score deals down south! I could be waiting a while

Yeah, I've noticed that too.. the past year or so particularly. Even with exchange, the market was always priced a bit better down south.. but now I think there are (in general), better deals in Canada.

Everyone wants to sell for the most they can get in the timeframe they are trying to sell in.

Favourable exchange would be huge for NIB purchases... just crazy to think about the bargains we had there, not too long ago.

I probably know you. Ran Bubi’s for a very long time.
So many people came from Michigan (further North) with skis on their cars looking for the nearest hill! One woman asked if we celebrated Christmas up here in Canada…then asked me for directions to Ontario….SMH
