Anyone interested in a deadpool pro for a Fishtales and cash?

You should talk to this guy...

I also want a TMNT pro.
Thinking of it as my next Stern, but not at msrp as it is very hard sell or sell at loss.

Good luck with the search

#21906 1 year ago

There was a TMNT LE for sale under mrsp for 1/2 a year on here

Still kind of is. I probably could have sold it a few times if shipping wasn't an issue.

I'd be open to local trades too now.

the things we do for pinball.

I get that shipping isn’t on the top of anyones list. But with a couple of strong friends, some packing material, a dolly and a truck - it gets done at one’s own pace.

I know of a pin that was just shipped to Argentina and I just sent one to the US. A motivated buyer and an equally motivated seller makes all the difference.

I’d volunteer to help if I were closer.
Best of luck whatever happens.

Cheers

Not quite true. I have arranged for someone (experienced) to pack the game for shipping, but there is a $200 charge for that which I will split with the buyer. I think it's fair to compensate this person for their time and materials. Shipping arrangements and costs are still up to the buyer though.

I'll have to see if there is still a Meegis packing crew available when it's time to sell one of my babies.
Meegis' mighty packing materials.
One skid, one roll of flex tape and voila!

When I saw 15 new messages in this forum I assumed Dan had decided to go ahead and buy the 170 game container sale in Italy - not yet I guess

I had a game shipped from Australia to Calgary, Alberta. Aside from being a bit of concerned on my part, about it making it here safe and sound, it was pretty easy. Shipping wasn't inexpensive but the seller crated the game up and it arrived in perfect shape.

I enquired about the 170 pins for sale. Here’s his response,

“New message from: mauriz75 (205TURQUOISE_STAR Star)
Hi we have all the 170 pinball machines but on Ebay it is an Advertisement.
You can buy 1, 5 , 10 or the ones you want
Best regards”

My barber was telling me that he has a client around London (Strathroy?) Who is in poor health with a bunch or arcade and pinballs in his home and a storage unit.
Hr was asking for a lead on who to have his buddy (or family) call.

I had great service from Corey Cooke in London. So I highly recommended him to call.
It may take a while for the message to get through, but it will happen. Or at least has in the past.
The barber has thrown me under the bus to fix his clients machines in the past.
I never saw a Genie with casters attached to the legs before, and never want to again.
But, fun times.

It's not a few containers, but if it does end up happening, hopefully we can keep some in the community.

Of course any time they say shit like 'best regards' I would think it's a scam.

I had a game shipped from France to Edmonton - was fine. Cost the seller around 300CAD to ship. This was 4 years ago.

I have brought a pallet maybe the size of 2 pinballs full of merchandise and other equipment from Australia. I was lucky that the the client was a broker. Hooked me up in a shared container on a ship, with the right contacts insurance is also cheap as well. The “shipping” was very slow as it crosses the ocean and the container often changes ships.

Just need to use the right broker. Shipping was $1100

Holy Shit! Sounds like someone was gouging.

Here's my Air Freight shipping invoice with insurance included from a few years ago for a game I had shipped from Australia. $850usd + $150usd for insurance. Mind you this was in a time before COVID, before everyone was raping the shit out of everyone else.

QSS

I would like to upload a picture of my shipping charges to show you all what I was charged but for some reason Pinside won't let me do it. Something about "If you're selling stuff on Pinside, you need to use the Pinside Marketplace. You can then embed your ad in any forum post by using the ad embed code."

Sounds about right, I did pay $1100 during covid. Anyway. I has forgotten about this, thought I would share it.
Everything arrived unscathed btw.

My workplace closed the doors in Nov.
I got hired to my next gig starting Feb 6
Should still have enough severance to pay off the mortgage (it's done next spring anyhow)
I paid off my wife line of credit for Xmas
Looking forward to not sitting around the house anymore.
Should provide plenty of money for another pin or two.
I guess the barbers trim job, got me the job.

This is really going to gut my golden retriever. She just loves having me here all day.
Best case I can start watching for a Deadpool.
