I guess I must not be good at selling things. What should like new DP Premium or JP Premium with shakers resell for? What about TMNT LE? Tell me what prices these should have.... I see people reselling premiums on Pinball Revolution for A LOT higher than what I have asked privately...
I meet a lot of inflexibility among potential buyers who want a certain price and just won't budge from their offer. It's odd that someone is willing to walk away from a deal over $100 on a $10,000 + item. I'm not gouging anyone on price, but I don't think I'm being unreasonable to make a counter offer that is still hundreds less than my original asking price.
This is why I hate selling pinball machines. It's such a highly competitive and small market here in Canada.

Yup.. With the rate of pinflation, I'm pretty sure you are expected to raise a reas. Price $100 for every month since the last bump.

Keep in mind PinRev is mostly Toronto area. They seem to have more people willing to overpay.

Agreed , tough sell for sure in canada overall think we are all a little more frugal this side of the border .
I will say if often struck a fair deal most of the time but usually the shipping becomes an ordeal for Canadian sellers and most can’t handle it like the USA guys .. there is always help around just takes more time to get it all lined up . Glws I would love a JP for the cave

Not really looking for trades, but willing to entertain.
I think you will find:
Flippers will gauge you and beat you down to the lowest price possible and if there are no other takers you are forced to take it or keep it.
Experienced collectors will hold firm on where they feel comfortable, and you either cave in or wait it out for a noob or for the collector to bite the bullet and cave.
Experienced collectors that really want a machine will give a little in negotiation and can usually find common ground.
New collectors get raped in this market but ultimately get the machines they want, but drive the prices up for the rest of us.
Have fun selling, my trick is I only buy or trade then I don’t have to deal with the bull crap that is going on in this hobby.

They are stuck buying yours or nothing! I’ve only ever sold one machine (my first machine) C37) pins4life33 made it easy to sell in Canada, otherwise it was going to the States. I was lucky it was an extremely wanted machine. We have a very small market. They can buy in the States and pay the shipping, exchange, tax, and customs brokerage fees (I use Jets Customs they are easy and AMAZING!) or buy yours it really doesn’t save them money. I try not to deal with Canadian sales anyway. The machine has usually been through the hands of people who think they know what they are doing and just damage it. Plus they are going by the price point of a collector’s quality with a beat up routed machine!

Possibly, I'm not up to date on prices. I think premium prices maybe jumped the shark with GZ.
At $13800, it's probably close to $700 less than I paid for it new.

Both sold fast because both were priced well. Tron is a great game. While simple in rules it's a ball breaker and has the one more game factor.

I think they all do now. I recently bought a game from Nitro and another from Player One. Was quoted USD in both cases. That's for new games. Used games are priced CDN.

They can't give you a price in CAD until they get the game. It depends on the rate on the day they had to pay for it.
