Does anyone in Canada have a spare 14-strand Ribbon Cable (the one that goes dmd -> display board, for a Williams dmd machine) that they can sell me and ship to Listowel, On. Let me know, youd be saving me a bunch of hassle making a whole order for one darn cable!

Dang, I should be scouring ads in AZ.
My folks down in Tucson for a month. And my wife’s parents are heading to Maricopa to pick some things up early February with a 3/4 ton.
I should be a hound dog on classifieds

I bought a Nascar from Arizona for 2k years ago. Guy I bought a roadshow from in Calgary brought it up for me. Tried snagging a stern playboy in Vegas on the same trip for $2250 but it sold a few hours before he came thru

I'm looking to trade my Lord of the Rings. It's in great shape overall besides some scratches on the cabinet. LEDs throughout and replaced strong coils. Looking for newer titles (2010 and newer mostly but open to anything).

Please PM me if you want to try to work something out.

The Barrett-Jackson auction starts next week in Scottsdale, maybe they'll come home with more than a pin?

Just saw the word profiteering thrown around… get a dictionary please.
This aint a non for profit hobby and we dont dictate the market.

Look up the term yourself.

Oh, and do you mean "not-for-profit" or "non-profit"? Wait a minute... I have a dictionary you can borrow.

-facepalm- to the price talking guys. If the convo goes on for multiple pages doesnt it deserve its own thread?

Anyone in BC have a Multimorphic or know of one on location? Been considering getting one, but would love to try before I buy. Interested in buying as well, of course.

It’s a cool looking system.

Quoted from Comox-Rocks:

Careful what you talk about as the p3 (prairie price police) are the worst of the lot for whatever reason! I always laugh when their stern chirps turn to dust with respect to present market value….
Listening to them is akin to actually believing in outdated ludicrous pinside pricing! Lmao

As a proud prairie dweller this comment has me a bit choked and disappointed. I’ll chime in though on the discussion. I think pricing is out to lunch and it is taking advantage of new people to the hobby that don’t know any better and putting entry into the hobby for some out of reach. Realistically these prices shouldn’t last and that’s why you see people taking advantage when they can. It’s no different then when people capitalized off of bottled water when the bow flooded except pinball isn’t needed to sustain life. In both cases you hear more about the negative then the positive. That being said there are still good deals out there. I sold whirlwind and a Batman 66 local here for 3k and 10k respectively in the last month and didn’t list either. For me it was a whirlwind to a good friend that will appreciate the machine and the Batman went to a couple new to the hobby that are super excited to have a grail game of theirs. I got to play both of these great games for years and I didn’t lose a bunch of money. I also get value out of the machines spreading our great hobby and the machines staying local and I’ve had the benefit of having dealt with some great pinsiders in the past that gave me great deals as well. This is of course my own viewpoint.
Cheers all

I don't really care. I'm just poking fun.

Went through a lot of trouble there dissecting that just to make me look bad.
It was written like that on purpose, I will make sure to write properly in the future, it is is otherwise an insult to all the money my parents threw into my education…
I am sorry, I am sorry, what I said was…

On second thought, I'm done seeing your posts.

Might have pushed the wrong joke to the wrong audience there. Nothing personal.

It has been a long month locked up and in between what I read here and pinrev, I am losing my filter around this crowd.

Some of the posts I read piss me off.

Speaking my mind maybe. No patience for bs maybe. Whatever.

All good. Apologies to all parties offended.
Peace out.

Somebody off their meds maybe? Let's reset and move some games.

#18967 2 years ago

Can we just agree to report people talking about price and remove their posts? It has been talked about for 2 years now and it doesn't warrant entire pages worth of posts. Can't afford it? Shut the hell up and move on.

How much is a SW pinball 2000 worth (in Canadian) in great shape?

No meds here... and that is something shitty to say, really.
Tough crowd here.

see them pop up around in Ontario every now and then, never seen one here, not sure now but I think 4K maybe less? not a very popular game.

#18971 2 years ago

I think I saw one in Chatham-Kent not too long ago. Yes it was around $4000

Right, 4K is what I was thinking as the gameplay is not considered that great.

I was thinking the kids would like it, I played it before a few times and enjoyed it as well. I really like the Pinball 2000 platform, I wish they would have had the chance to make a few more.

They do pop up now and then, I also think you can easily swap a fully populated Revenge from Mars PF and you would have 2 games in one. Do not quote me on that as I am not entirely sure.

BTW RFM is twice the game SWEP1 is. SW is beautiful but boring as f...

RFM can be updated to newer code that's still being developed. https://www.mypinballs.com/software/rfm/code_updates.jsp

If you get the Linux based Pinbox/Nucore system then the swap between RFM/SWEP1 is as simple as just switching playfields. Nothing else to do the computer recognizes which one is plugged in.

You're kinda close! The parents in law have gone a few years to the Auction for sure. one year he came back to Sask with a '68 roadrunner on a kind of 10-12 year old restore. He didn't get it at the auction but on the same trip. (prob sav d the seller lot's of $) He bought a car hauler and pulled the whole rig home. He's very proud of his car and it gets 12 month a year warmth in his heated garage.

Not BC but there is a Heist game on location in Calgary at the Century Sports bowling alley.

I’m noticing quite a few of the pinball machines that I wanted a couple years ago are up for sale again in Ontario!?

#18988 2 years ago

For sale/trade: HS2 - Getaway

Player's condition. Has some playfield planking and the standard cabinet fade. Fantastic player. Pin2DMD colour DMD. Full LEDs. Topper works. Supercharger is in great shape (with home made guard to prevent ball fly-outs). Upgraded flipper coils to help with that pesky lock shot.

Located in North Bay, ON.

$5,200. Will consider trades for other DMDs. Notably Jackbot.

Approximate value for my HS.

Pondering going down to 1 Machine.
(Knowing fully that I will likely replace it at some point... )

It is full LED.
Has the upright stoplight upgrade/toy.
Cabinet has scabs on the corners of the head, general wear. Probably 7/10.
Playfield is showing some wear. Some touch ups done previously.
A great playing machine all around.

What do you think is a fair ask?

3000-3600 totally depending on the buyer also?

Hmmm... lower than I thought.

Local reseller has it at retail for $5000. Seeing them both they are pretty similar condition. As they are retail I would expect it to be a bit higher... but not 1500 to 2000 higher.

You'd probably get 4k on the east coast

Can someone in Canada that can pack for shipping or preferably in Ontario help me out and sell me their Strangers Things Premium or LE so my wife and kids will stop asking me. I will pay realistic market pricing. I don't care if you have a topper, shooter rod, mods or even the UV kit. Did I say please? Just send me a DM or you can publicly ridicule me here in the open forum, your choice. Cheers!

Thanks to everyone who read my post and to the person (unknown) who reached out to someone who had one. Happy seller, happy buyer, happy wife, happy life. Cheers.
