When you are shipping from a business you save the lift gate and residential pick up fee (about $150) vs shipping from a person’s house. Same on the receiving end if you ship to a business or depot.

So in the end it’s a little bit more expensive to pay a company to pickup and pack for you but you save money on shipping costs. For me personally all my pins are in the basement, I work 10 hour days and a have a bit of a bad back so I’m happy to outsource the shipping and packing. Usually $250-350 extra for a professionally packed machine but saving $150 on shipping remember so what an extra $200 in the end all said and done? TBH all the pins I had to ship this way on a $10k ++ purchase buyers usually don’t care.

Anyway if anyone is serious on Avengers I’ll knock off $250 to subsidize packing etc. special Canadian Pinsider discount eh!

Since you asked, here's my 2 cents.

I'm in a major City. I will get my price locally. Maybe it takes 2 weeks instead of 2 minutes. I want the buyer to see it and I don't want drama.

I suspect the folks using others to pack and ship feel similarly but have calculated that they at least have an independent party involved that can verify condition to some extent. I get that.

I am actually finding more machines than ever available for sale. My searches used to only result in one or two crazy overpriced pins. Any other pins for sale were snatched up instantly. Now there a lots of crazy overpriced pins for sale. I have never seen so many premiums and LEs for sale. It amazing how many people are looking to sell in the 10-20K range.

I've decided to sell my 1998 Sega Godzilla pinball. Not one you will see for sale often as only 516 were made.

I've owned the game for about 10 years and it's been a trouble free machine. It's a blast to play and it's fun trying to stack the 5 multiball modes and evenually destroy New York while the game shakes with the factory installed shaker motor. The game is in good shape and includes the manual plus NOS plastics.

It is plug and play ready with no errors. I recently shopped the game top and bottom with a complete tear down of the playfield. All GI and some insert bulbs were changed to LED.

As shown in the pics, there are some broken plastics. I'm including a set of NOS plastics. These are original old stock plastics and not reproductions. The insert by the left sling shot has wear. I've installed mylar to prevent further wear.

I will say that Toronto and Vancouver prices are somewhat typically higher than the rest of the country.

Profiting off of scarcity is a reality in any market. Sell your machine for 50k if you can get it, or sell it for 15k if you feel you want to pay it forward. Life's too short to care. When I see crazy prices and profiteering, I just grin and think "there's a sucker born..."

Not so much a fan of your initial post calling me out for a high price but I do appreciate your overall disposition.
My PBRev post does (at least I think it does?) say that I’m enjoying the game, but happy to sell if this is current market value because I don’t enjoy any pinball machine that much.
And as you know, you can always come down if it doesn’t sell but pulling the ad and increasing price isn’t so much appreciated. Appreciate the offer to get together. It’s always fun to drink some beers and complain about inflation.

Yah I have found Pro NIB ones. They have played the Pro on location but they saw the projection mapping and loved that. I do too, it is a first in pinball and looks really cool in a dark room.
