Ok. Not gonna mind my business for a sec youve talked about this game for 6 months or more. Just go make a deal. He's in your Province. Maybe he travels to TO occasionally so you can work out delivery or something then it's worth an extra couple hundred.

I guess the other option is we change this thread name to Canada games for sale plus Grayson's dad talks about buying a blackout but doesn't follow through.

Im not driving 10hrs round trip to spend $2,500 on a Blackout fron a guy that was rude to my friend about the Flash Gordon and ill keep looking as much as i like and as long as like thanks. I buy plenty of other titles while i wait and i will still post that im looking every month or 2 until i.find what makes me happy. Some people just need to calm the f down about other peoples shit lol. Lot of talk like $2,500 isnt bad but thisnis the 3rd time he has listed it. Its not just me that thinks it too much. I offer 2k. Its not a resale thing as id be keeping it. Its an overpriced is overpriced thing. Lots of better games to play in that price range. Patience is a virtue.

Honestly on an older pin where the price is established and stable it’s silly to be impatient and overpay.
It’s not necessarily always about getting back what you paid but on older games you should be able to most of the time. An older title is not going to go down in value sooooo unless you overpay you can reasonably expect to get your money back. Obviously nib is different and at least 9 out of 10 times you will lose money.

I was going to complain that there hasn’t been an actual sale post in at least the last 25 posts, but then I remembered that T2 and SWT have eaten up my recent pin budget anyway and I’m pin-broke, so it really doesn’t matter anyway.
And on top of that, I gotta try and scrape together $2500 for a hug package (*giggles*) deal now too!

Yup. Just monthly, not weekly. Thats how this thread works. You want to over pay for stuff thats 5hrs away feel free. Blackout comes up several time a year. Last one was $1,300 but I was broke. Ill.just wait for the right deal thanks. Any other questions?

Seems as though nowadays you are not finding any good condition solid states for under $2k now. $2500 for a Blackout that appears to be in pretty nice condition does not seem bad to me.
If you are worried about losing money then play it 500 times and then sell for $2k.

Yes, you are free to post monthly about how much you miss your Blackout and how much you want one. And we are free to give you a moderately hard time the Xth time one comes up for sale and you pass on it. I don't think anybody is getting worked up over it. It would be crazy not to expect some comments after a point unless we all had long term memory issues.
Sorry you missed out on one for $1300. Considering that is the price some people are paying for crappy Stern toppers these days, that is almost "free". Crazy prices these days!
Well since there’s no pins for sale and this topic blew up I thought I’d post this my bad experience here. So I ordered a game from 8bitarcade in Ontario. Prepaid shipping and total amount of game. Game took 2 1/2 months to get to me he said 3 weeks maybe 4. He said it’s was going to be shipped depo to depo but still needed my home address. Game arrives at my home address. 1 month after game arrives I now have a 550$ dollar bill in the mail from fedex. And the game is poorly set up almost unplayable
Sooo… not looking for a rub and tug... a reach around... or any of that stuff. Just pinball. I have $2K to spend. What CAN I buy? Would consider a project, but would be looking at something needing a little TLC, not a ground up, bring back from the dead project. Back on track.

Funny, I just shipped a game from Edmonton to Toronto, took 60 hours (2.5 days) depot to depot.

Note the Jacky shooter rod is pretty top heavy, so it typically doesn't stay up properly (face up). I always found that annoying when I owned the game.
