Anyone going from Winnipeg to Saskatchewan in the next week or so who might have room to haul a pin in exchange for gas money and beer?

Off topic, does anyone know a forum where Canadians can look for arcade machines as well? Now that I got my 93 Jurassic Park pinball machine by data East I just have to find a dedicated neo-geo cabinet so my game room will be complete.
Please remove if not appropriate
Thanks

I know, I usually sell a game and then buy it right back like the Shadow and GnR lol. Waiting for the Pinsound adapter to see if I like it more with better music.

That's not bad what the game packs. I'm a much bigger fan of Pinbot but it isnt much cheaper anymore.
Pinbot is such a weird pin for me, I remember playing it a lot back in the day and loving it. I wanted one so bad, I searched and searched ended up over paying to get one. I spent so much time and money getting it in nice shape. Played it for a couple of weeks and found it a complete dud, I couldn't get rid of it fast enough. It sold quick though and I didn't lose much on it, people do love it. I can't even play JackBot that layout just does nothing for me.

I think I sent ya parts for it!!
Jackbot sucks and is a distant 3rd in the series. Not even sure why it was made. I love the callouts in bop and is a great looking game but a little too much stop and go. Pinbot has the sounds and amazing lightshow that was unreal in 1986 and after owning it twice, I'd gladly own again.

Call me crazy, but I would take a Jackbot over both the others. BOP would be my last choice for sure.

Not crazy, Jackbot is by far the best out of the 3 imo. I owned one and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Maybe it's because I have access to jackbot on location and just can't stand the sounds is the reason i dislike it so much. Why didn't they create a new game instead of rehashing pinbot in a casino? Pinbot blows jackbot out of the water in sounds and lightshow imo but to each their own.

Jackbot wins for a better ruleset though

Cheaper imitation of Dr Who.

Besides the 2 ball lock in the middle, where's the comparison?

Both have robots and buttons that control flippers. I could go on and on with the similarities... but I can't think of anything else.

That is Pinbot in a nutshell.

You need more time on a Pinbot.
Hey guys. Remember the 11k sttng or selling my Gorgar cause wife thinks it's evil ads a few years back? Looks like he's finally selling his collection. It's on kijiji Alberta.
What would you put a number on the collection?

Is that “dean” with the who dunnit?

Nah, I want to say Chris? Lives out in morinville. I see he deleted the ad already. Had a sttng, Gorgar, bk, fp,f2k, bmpm and others. Something about moving to winterpeg?
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Lives out in morinville.
Doesn’t he usually pull the same shit. Ad up for a brief time, then down, then back up? That location rings a bell, and I remember that Gogar ad, it was priceless.

Some guy in Alberta named Chris contacted my buddy saying he is moving to shittypeg and bringing a bunch of games with him to sell:
Did a dude from Alberta that is moving to Winnipeg contact you yesterday? He says he’s got 21 pins that he might sell as a package. Chris...I can’t find any info about him. I tried searching his collection on pinball owners and Pinside but no luck. Says he wants $40k plus for the entire collection and if he doesn’t get a reasonable offer then do what TNT amusements did on YouTube and chuck them off the roof of a building.
games.......sttng, Gorgar, bk, fp,f2k,nugent,paragon,meteor,space invaders,high speed,pink panther,comet,time warp,volcano,big game,harlem,mrms pacman
Quoted from shaub:I'm looking for an STTNG, it doesn't sound likely that this Morinville guy is likely to pan out. Anyone know of one for sale? Preferably somewhere between Winnipeg and Calgary/Edmonton.
I know of one in Wpg that is available.or will be

Yup this is the guy. Ad said moving to Winnipeg in May or something with all those games you listed and a couple doubles. When I first thought of buying a pin about 5 years ago he had a $1200 JP for sale. He sold it but told me about all the other games he had. I tried getting his sttng but he only wanted to trade and I had no games. Said he was a technician and lived out morinville way. Then he started posting those fake kijiji ads and went away till yesterday.
He's the guy who first told me about pinside and pinball owners

Thanks guys, messages have been sent.
Quoted from EvanDickson:I may have a trade lined up for the Star Trek I mentioned earlier. So I got off my ass and made a proper kijiji ad for the Dredd now with pictographs.

Price reduction on Dredd. $4400 with color display, or $4100 with orange.

That's a good price, mine is currently listed for sale at $23,000, so you would be getting this one for a steal!
Quoted from yellowghost:What machine is "fp" and "f2k"?
Firepower and Flight 2000
