Love the pricing Police.
They say everyone's selling price is too high when they are buying...
But don't you dare tell them their price is too high when they are selling... their price is bang on.
LOL
PP = Douchebag

Um no, but ok.

Jesus. Sandeep is trying to get 9k for a Party Monsters? I get that it's been decked out but damn man. That's SS pricing. My buddy just sold one for half that. No amount of powder coating is worth 4.5k lol

I want to add to my last response to this. I would GLADLY sell my game for around $4000 and pay an additional $2500 or more for another Party Monsters that included all the upgrades he has made. Is $9K high, probably, but I'm sure that's not set in stone.

You advertise where people can comment then people will comment. Don't like it?? Make flyers and go door to door...

$6,500 is a long way from 9k. I wasnt really price policing as much as laughing at a ridiculous asking price. I thought I was just sharing something funny on pinside. Didnt realize so many people would lose there minds. I forgot how sensitive this site can be. There must be a long line of people waiting to drop 9k on Elvira. Who knew? Must be the super LE.

Still not grasping it but ok.

There definitely is the option to just post a classified ad with no comments. Post it in this thread and game on if it’s too high imo. Almost all of us are pretty aware what prices should be anyways. Except those poor bastards that paid 7500 for embryon and 7k usd for tspp. My heart is heavy for them.

Selling my Stern Rollercoaster Tycoon. $3800. Love this under rated game, but it's time for something new. Can ship.

Too expensive for Gray's, he's a cheap ass.

He wants a blackout for nothing, hence why he's been looking forever.

What is with all the shade being thrown around here lately!!?

Do you just come here to be an ass? I've never interacted with. You just want to feel included?
It IS more than I'd like to spend on a Blackout, especially taking into account shipping to Ontario but I'm looking at it now and having a nice chat with the seller. I spend good money on quality games. None of my games were cheap. I missed that boat by a few years. I've been looking for a GOOD Blackout, that's why it's been a while. The backglass notoriously flakes and cracks and the playfields are often planked. Seeing as I only sold mine 13mo ago (for $1,100 in amazing shape) i dont think I've been looking too hard these last few months.

Let's all stop with the general douch baggary thats going around lately and talk pinball.

My buddy has a rct, and I really enjoy playing it. Great game, and a very fair price. Good luck with the sale!

Found 4 dmd displays that I pulled to install color units. Looks like one late model Stern and Vishay HV style for the other 3. I'll price them at $130 each, prefer pickup if possible. Also 3 complete Sys 11A display units (board, all displays). Pulled from Pinbot, HS, and Grand Lizard. Prefer to sell those together as I know one display of the lot is bad. They would be good for parts/repair or make two complete units, all 3 for $250, again prefer pickup if possible. I have 3 sheets of decent glass too from HD swap over, local pickup $20 each or all for $50.

location ?

#12218 4 years ago

Edmonton, didn’t put in as I thought my location was visible. If it’s not, my error, all parts in Edmonton.

It is not visible. That can be changed in your settings.

I have a Williams 4 Roses 1962 up for sale. Fully functioning, I have recently rebuilt the scoring reels and two other reels located below the playfield. Overall in great condition, has some wear below the flippers.

What companies were people using when I was hearing all the good shipping rates people.qere getting?.Day and Ross terminal to terminal from Winnipeg to Woodstock is $259. To my door would be $431.
(Based on shipping on a 4x4 skid.)
Thanks

I just did D&R from BC to Brampton, terminal to terminal all in $170Cdn. On skid.

#12233 4 years ago

Ship it to Brampton.

That's weird. Could it cost less to Brampton? I'll have to call them again tomorrow. I'm kind of in the middle between the Brampton and Woodstock locations. I only choose Woodstock as it's usually the better drive.

#12235 4 years ago

Winnipeg>Brapton $228.38

I was quoted $260 + tax estimate originally but actual came in much lower. Considering it cost $400US to ship a game 6 hours in the US.

What weight and dimensions did you give them? It must be Winnipeg doesnt get as much traffic?

#12239 4 years ago

Honestly even 260 is not too too bad. That vs the other rates is a difference of what... The amount I would pay for shipping a Marco or pinball life order to me?

#12240 4 years ago

I dont even think the day and ross quote is high. It's the same as when I shipped from Alberta though. I just expected less with half the travel

Day and ross rates are wacky. I paid almost double to have a machine shipped from saskastoon then somebody having a machine shipped in from alberta. Must be other factors than distance.

Distance, current gas prices, the size of the skid, dimensions and weight of the machine. Day and ross depot to depot is your best rate.

You get a quoted amount based on what you give them for weight and dimensions. If they stop on the trip and do a weight check and you under quoted they will charge the difference and an additional fee. However in my experience they rarely check and if its within 10 to 25lbs they may not request a payment adjustment.

#12243 4 years ago

i recently shipped from Abbotsford to Winnipeg....with D&R and they quoted me around $180.....in the end they charged me around $140
the measurements I used were 40X48X72 250lbs

#12244 4 years ago

For everyone talking distance and comparing rates.

Every company has their own line haul routes. If you are on it or close to it, the cost is substantially less. A lot of the depos aren't actually their own warehouses but hubs they use and transfer through.

If you can get through one or close enough, you'll save in the end.

If the company doesn't go through the area you need you will end up paying more for a transfer drop ship

SO, i'm on fucking strike, like literally from work, not like grumpy pinside strike, anyone need a pin shipped & overpriced? White glove service, if I buy some white gloves. I have spare time.

That sucks, with no end in sight I guess if you're selling off pins. Where do you work?

I'm guessing a Crown corp. It doesn't make sense to go on strike for %1 or %2, unless there's other bigger issues at stake.

You are getting charged a higher rate because of the size of the Skid.
Use a smaller one the size of a Stern box 31" x 31".
You are charged by volume, and weight.
4' x 4' is too big.

More freight moves through Calgary, Edmonton.
Saskatoon is not one of their busy hubs.
