Quoted from PinheadEDM:

High end restoration of Elvira party monsters coming. New playfield, restored cab inside and out, all custom 2 toned red powdercoat, new plastics, everything new as needed. Real back glass special order from cpr, fully led’d and so much more. Gilles local restorer completed it. Dm me if interested.

This will have been the one and the same pin at YegPin that didn't work too well and was dark every time I tried to give it a go. Not trying to crush Sandeep's 47th pinball sale this year, just sayin' that's what I experienced in May.

Toilet bowl racing.
Turn left. Turn left. Turn left. OH NO! What do I do now?! Oh yeah, turn left.

Lol, exactly!! And I also know for a fact (from both personal observations with inside access and first-hand knowledge) that NASCAR is rigged. NASCAR is to racing as "professional" wrestling (e.g. WWE) is to pugilistic sport.

The one at YP was Jody’s, Gilles barely completed on time and had issues due to the settings I put on it and caused resets, we didn’t get to test play as much as we wanted to before the show otherwise it played fine. I tested played this machine for Gilles at his shop and he did another awesome job on this restore, it is a beautiful machine. Someone will be very lucky to have it in their home.

Too bad it wasn't Gilles selling the eatpm but I'm glad he's cleaning up doing restores. His work is top notch for sure. That one at yegpin looked really nice.

#11858 4 years ago

If anyone is interested, my friend also wants to sell his Party Monsters. High end players game is probably the best quick description. Looks good, plays great. Hamilton, ON. PM me if interested.

#11859 4 years ago

This eatpm is Gilles second, higher end full restoration including new gold playfield, real back glass, custom 2 tone powdercoat throughout, inside cab redone, even the bar to hold up the playfield. There is so much done to the game, pictures will be posted soon on pinside. The proof is in how much I spent on the game, but pinsiders will get a bargain.

Hey everyone! Looking for a Cross Town or Subway EM machine in the Manitoba / Saskatchewan area. Not looking for a huge project machine, would like the pin to be in good player's quality with a clean and unblemished playfield. DM me if you have a line on this machine.

I am putting up for trade/sale my HUO AC/DC Premium. I am the second owner. It is stock except for the Colour DMD, shaker motor, and subwoofer (the upgraded speakers may have been part of the premium package, not 100% sure). Pin is mint, with low plays. Currently on main floor of my house. Located in Saskatoon. I will happily send pictures to anyone interested.

Willing to trade +/- cash. Would be willing to ship for the right trade.

Thanks.

Have a couple things ready to leave.

1975 gottlieb soccer. This is a 2 player game. There is a 4 player version called super soccer. Ive been told this is more rare, but honestly I couldn't say for sure.

Backglass is decent, game plays 100%, stood up to league play and has never had any major issues. Playfield is good, plastics all good and an extra set comes included (used, but nice to have backups)

I can email or text pics to anyone interested.

Asking $1250 obo, happy to ship at buyers expense.

Next,

I have a brand new never opened run dmd clock. It is still sealed in the box it was sent to me in. This is the large version
clock description:
assembled using custom laser-cut acrylic panels, the clocks use (2) two P5 sized rgb LED panels, which are mounted side-by-side to display the 128x32 dot resolution (just like a pinball DMD). each clock measures approximately 28.00" (w) x 7.50" (h) x 1.50" (d)
although the clock can only display monochrome colored animations, the user has the ability to select between one of 7 colors (red, green, blue, yellow, magenta, teal or white) by toggling the six dip switches accessible from the backside of the clock

Cost was $450 USD, plus shipping/duties/taxes

Hoping to get back what I spent, but realize I may lose my ship/tax/duties.

Any questions please let me know

Thanks!

It's been there for years it's a rough operated game.

Wow! I must be out of the loop. Isn't Sopranos like a 4500 to 5k game? 6k+ now? I'd gladly trade a sopranos for a potc.

I wonder that about a lot of B list titles coming up for such prices. To me, we are reaching/have reached saturation. Prices should be coming down on these titles, not up.

Good luck to those that can get a good price!

#11881 4 years ago

A nice sopranos is worth 6k no problem.

Ones that aren’t beat, the dancers are oh and have working safes are harder to find.

Throw in some leds, cdmd and laserrific topper and 6-6500 all day.

I had a super nice one and traded it away, kind of miss it but had played it thousands of times.

Quoted from extraballingtmc:

You just added $1000 in mods that not everyone wants.
I just sold a rbion for $4500. If it had a color dmd and a bunch of extras I guess I could have asked $5500 but it's still a $4500 game to me.

#11883 4 years ago

Current used pricing keeps me buying newer games. I can get a Stern pro nib for the price of lots used pins now. I love my Shadow but I havent seen one posted in Canada for less than $6,500 in a while. Id like to snag a World Cup Soccer but they are going for over $4,000 now. Hard to justify 90s pricing with the great current releases for less than $8,000 (looking at you Deadpool and Jurassic Park)

#11884 4 years ago

Still looking for a collectors Blackout if anyone has one. Looking to replace my first pin. Cabinet not as important for my tastes but looking for high end backglass and playfield. Mine was really good. I miss her.

#11885 4 years ago

Anyone know the person with the classic games for sale. on Kijiji Edmonton area thinking about getting a game from him he wants to ship it to me.

Selling my Metallica Pro by Stern. I'm the original owner. HUO.
Game is in excellent condition. It's mostly just sat covered since new.
Has the pinnovators pcb sub hookup installed but no other mods.
Also comes with the pinnovators expander so you can have up to 4 pinball machines hooked up to a single sub.
This is the newer style with factory led's and metal backbox.
Price is firm.
Leaving the short lived hobby of 5 years to concentrate on my stand up arcade game collection.

I just put it on the Victoria Craigslist
It's also on the Vancouver Craigslist.
Game located in Victoria, BC
$6000

This seems like a really great deal. HUO, mod free game, should sell real quick.

Why is it that when I had cash I couldn't find a met anywhere and now that I'm broke there's a few of them available at great prices? Guess it will be my white whale

#11889 4 years ago

So now we have learned the Sopranos and a met pro are both worth 6K???

I feel the complete opposite, I agree pins are hard to find and posted prices in Canada are high. That being said $8k for a new Stern Pro is way to much especially with all the issues. If I'm dumping that kind of cash I expect it to be mint and complete. You take such a gamble on quality and your going to be waiting for code. I just bought a BSD from one of the container buys. First time I have done this and obviously there is some risk and the pin is going to need some love. Everything included I'll be into it for $3750 CAD and you get a proper licensed pin. None of this rated G Baby Deadpool or weird Newman Jurassic Park with a lame T-Rex. I'll own the new JP one day when I can get it for less than $6K and I don't think I'll have to wait that long and I will know exactly what I am getting.

People still buying container games? Given our sh!tty CAD is this still lucrative? Is there a games for sale list somewhere to get an idea on prices?

His name on kijiji was Tim he said He inherited 29 pins from his uncle. Was shipped to him in 3 sea cans. He also works for a shipping company so he could ship it to me for basically for free. Prices seem fair. But he’s Not a Pinsider can’t trust sending cash to him with no one to back him.

I would not call it lucrative, I don't see this as profitable. I think its a great way to find a pin your after for a good price, its just about acquiring pins. I enjoy working on pins so I figure at $3750 for a BSD I will probable sink another grand or so into it. ColorDMD, new cabinet decals, LED and some misc and I should have a very nice BSD for $5000 Canadian. I'm doing this as a hobby because I enjoy it. If your trying to do this for profit your going to be very underwater on labour. I'm hopeful if I decide to move it I should be able to get back the money I put into it. If I wanted profit you would make more an hour working fast food. Here is a link to the buy but its closed now but it will give you an idea whats available.

I find this dynamic really interesting. Some of the NIB Stern Pro options right now are pretty sweet. And for a bit less you can get an incredible game like MET for less than that.
I have a hard time seeing most of the 2nd-tier aughts Sterns going more than $5000. The only factor would be for a super minty one since back then more of these games were routed than bought for home. Stern had knockouts with TSPP, LOTR and SM, but I can't imagine the others rising much because there are so many great games in the 2010+ that are readily available and offer a much deeper gameplay for only a slight price difference.
I still think the 2nd-tier aughts games are super charming and always play them on location. Elvis, Ripleys, Sopranos, Monopoly, and WoF being personal favourites.

A stand up guy for sure. I recently picked up twd from him and had it shipped from BC to AB and he took the utmost care packing it. The game was also basically brand new! Buy with confidence.
