High Speed sold pending pick up.
With all those pins gone I'll finally be able to clean up the garage and will be posting parts and stuff for sale. Then I can finally start on TZ restore.

Buyer backed out on High Speed. Solid players game, some wear on play field and back glass has some flaking. Good garage pin. First 1600 takes it, obo. Get it outta my garage! I got stuff to do. Tail light warranty included.

Not sure this is the right spot to post this but I am looking to purchase a Stern Kooky Carnival Simpsons game. Anyone know of anyone selling one or have any info it would be appreciated.

I just put my road show up for trade on craigslist:
vancouver.craigslist.ca link

I'd like to keep it local, but would be willing to drive or meet half way for the right game. Notable features are:
- playfield is in great shape with no wear
- cliffy on the scoop
- new speaker panel
- red and ted shooter rods
- backglass in great shape and signed by John Youssi
- left side of the cabinet has some fade, the rest looks great
- power coated blue legs
- all LED's with comet sunlight in the GI and color matched on the underside

The game is at a friends right now, but I will be getting more pictures when I can.

Took some photos of Road Show with my phone yesterday. Should have brought my SLR, but you can still see that it's in great shape:

What are you asking for it? Seen your add on Craigslist, are you just looking to trade?

I'd rather see what I can get as a trade right now. We have some renos coming up and if pinball money goes into the bank it's probably not going to survive very long...

I have a Strange Science up for trade. Game is in excellent shape, with new spare ramp, new displays, fully working neon topper, and rebuilt flippers. Looking to trade for one of the following, working or not: Sharkey's Shootout, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Goldeneye, Independence Day, Gladiators, Hook, Cue Ball Wizard, TMNT, Phantom of the Opera, The Simpsons (DE).
PM me with any questions or concerns.

Added over 7 years ago: Other titles I would also be interested in: Maverick, Street Fighter 2, Big Hurt, Rescue 911.

It's killing me that this wasn't posted a week earlier and/or that I'm now full to the brim and have no room. Congrats to whoever buys this.

There are two in Montreal / Ottawa area on pinball Revolution, or maaca, forget which. One has poor pictures. But one has good pictures and looks immaculate.

As l live on the west coast I would have to trust a shipping company not to damage in transit (and seller do a good job of protecting), giving money before receiving product, and unable to play before buying...

That being said I might opt for that route but I guess I'm not there yet and hoping one will turn up on the west coast.

Don't count on the shipping for compensation if they ruin the game. These guys are saints and have no morale conscience. Concider yourself warned. I'm in a battle with a shipping company that damaged my LOTR. I even purchased additional insurance. Now the third party broker is claiming clemency, the shipper says they would do no such thing. The person that signed for it at the accepting warehouse didn't look for damage and signed for the game. Failure on so many levels. Conclusion you are on your own.

Thanks for the input! Does anyone have experience using a "white glove" shipping service? I assume you used a standard shipping service?

white glove, golden glove.....they'll rip you a new one no matter which service you use. My best advice. The seller should put the game in a palette and buy about 5 heavy blankets and wrap it up like crazy, then use packing wrap and just to town with it and wrap the thing again so it looks like a big marshmellow.

Your home or tenant insurance company should have a rider that extends to your contents anywhere in the world including while in transit. However you need to have the best coverage which we call Conprehensive in Canada this will cover damage such as dropping or an automotile collision , etc. Check with your own Company. If u have a good broker they should be able to help.

I still have to dispute that. With my recent experience I talk to my broker on three different occasions and also spoke to a couple of insurance providers and all of them said that home insurance covers transportation in the event of something happening to the vehicle. They do not cover loading and unloading accidents which is when the damage will occur.

#6890 6 years ago

Is there any way you could buy it with your credit card? I know my credit card (Cuets Platinum) has great coverage for things, might be worth investigating.

You have to re read my last sentence... I am telling you a top of the line all risk comprehensive policy does not excluding loading and unloading. The policy covers EVERYTHING except what is specifically excluded so you just read the exclusions and see it is not listed there so it is covered. Again I can't speak for what "others" do but tell them to show you where in the policy it is excluded and they should send you the wording highlighted with the area

Insurance providers provide different coverage details and options throughout the huge insurance market, and it becomes especially so in more nuanced coverage options such as what is being discussed. It is useless to talk in absolutes. A good independent insurance broker should be able to identify providers and coverages that someone wants if it is available in the current market, as well as explain the nuances in it. A good broker who tells you that you have a specific coverage will go to bat if issue comes up down the line with a claim to an insurer. Have those conversations with your broker and have them add the expected insurance coverage expectations and circumstances to their file for a record. And when you get the coverage, make sure you read all the information the insurer sends to confirm your expectations and talk with your broker if there are any questions.

Couldn't agree more and in Alberta and BC that "good" broker would be www.krywolt.com - sorry shameless plug for my company. Actually we are working on a program to provide extra coverage for those with pin collections as the standard wordings of all companies have bad gaps in coverage. These gaps are mainly to do with valuation on games which can not be replaced with NIB games. Most everyone is rolling the dice on those right now regardless of where or who you are insured with. More info on Pinsurance hopefully coming soon.

What should the price on a gotlieb panthera be roughly?

#6898 6 years ago

Considering moving my Hobbit SE. Unboxed myself in the basement, yellow Titan rubber added, yellow plastic protectors, flipper toppers and Superbands, installed. Back glass signed by Jersey Jack.

Less than 100 total plays. ( audits say 66 ) Looks and plays brand new.

$10,800

Would consider trades on a Spiderman ( original ) Fishtales, Indy or CFTBL
