Quoted from Anonymouse:

Press A to make your horse go faster. In the end I have to say that it's a good game but it's artificially long. Too much riding around.

I agree there is a lot of riding around, but try not to rush through the game and I believe you will enjoy it more. Just riding around, enjoying the incredible scenery, maybe there's some deer in the distance? Go hunt it with your bow and save the hide for crafting a satchel upgrade. Take alternate routes, discover mystery strangers in need, etc.

This is like the opposite of pinball which is constant fast-paced action. I have to "adjust" my mindset when transitioning from pinball to RDR2 since they are so different. I love them both but for completely different reasons.

Quoted from Tuna_Delight:

I've seen several video clips of this scene on the interwebs and the woman's attire has differed in each as far as degree of sexiness.
Does this depend on how much you pay for the bath?

It might depend on the town/hotel you take a bath in. I'm pretty sure the bath with help is a fixed price.

So is this game actually any FUN or just a marvel of technology?
I go into a new state with no bounties, OK cool. Somebody picks a bar fight with me.... WANTED! I flee to the big Saint Denis town. My horse bumps into someone UNARMED ASSAULT!
It feels more like a super strict Demolition Man police state than the Wild West.

The game is definitely fun IMO. I have had a couple annoying wanted issues but they haven't detracted from the overall experience.

Well I finally beat the game and epilogue, forgot to check my hours but it's a bunch

Now to go back and meander around some more!

Wow. So, did you just take a week off of work? LOL. I'm enjoying the game, but on track for completion like 5 years from now. Damn kids!!!

I did have 1 day off work Mostly nights and some weekends, I've been playing since it came out so almost 4 weeks now.

Quoted from taylor34:

The side missions are kind of boring and pointless though for the most part. I did some for little reward, not really worth it. I have a hard enough time just making it through all the main missions, I'm in chapter 4 now.
All the missions are kind of the same:
A character has a brilliant idea to make lots of money, rescue, or steal something
They embark on the mission, every is going smooth
Things suddenly go horribly wrong
They make some money but far less than the were hoping most of the time
Repeat over and over
It's like the Harry Potter movies, where everyone hates harry, a mysterious evil person shows up, harry gets in trouble but then the evil person is actually good and helps save the day and people like harry again, but everyone hates him by the next movie to repeat the cycle 7 times.

Are you telling me that Dutch has a plan???

How many chapters are there in the game?

Are you sure you want to know? I would consider that a mild spoiler

Quoted from captainadam_21:

There are 6 chapters? Damn. I'm just on 3 and I've put probably 40 hours into it. Mostly goofing around

Then there's the epilogue

I am tempted to just start over and play through the story again. If I was retired I would start this today.
