Paramount is rebooting Heavy Metal with a 2015 film spearheaded by David Fincher (Fight Club, Se7en, Alien 3). I'd happily pre-order whatever crazy expensive LE they're selling if Kilian Eng did the art:

Electric Gigolo. Just confirmed for Christmas release. Also comes in the LE version Electric Pimp. Not quite a PinBot reboot, but it will have two balls.
Actually, it's going to be Relationship - The Pin.
You start out with 2 balls, but by the time you progress from "single" to "married" you no longer have balls, and the game just bitches at you non-stop until you shut the machine off.

I was thinking about this yesterday and it came to me that this would be a good theme for a redemption game. With Stern hinting that they are going to use the expanded factory to build a pusher every once in a while, Angry Birds would be a good one for them to start with. Pushers are a completely different target market than pinball is. Maybe that is where these rumors are coming from???
