I have several wire ramps on 2 of my W/B pins with broken connections. Can these be welded? I know a neighbor with welding equipment at home - he does all types of welding. What material are they?

Yes, they are steal and yes to welding.

Thanks, it is his profession and he is certified in all types of welding. I'll ask him to look at them.

If you have any sterns, see if he can fix the trough eject scoop. Those tack welds break SO FAST.

Use a TIG welder if possible for the cleanest looking weld.

If he's a pro he should have a TIG welder. Unless he's real good with a MIG the TIG is the way to go for fine detailed work like wire ramps.
