Williams, 1994My Roadshow's translite is very yellowed on the back side, almost brown in places with some drip marks from something, but I am afraid to attempt any cleaning products on it.
Is anything safe to use other than water? I was thinking Novus 1 might be ok?
While i'm not sure of any long term effects - I have a completely destroyed and FILTHY yellowed STTNG translate which I just tested on...
A few spritzes of this on a rag/paper towel - and the funk wiped right up. None of the white backing came up with it (which I can imagine is the concern here).

We use this cleaner for all sorts of stuff (including grease stains on delicate laundry). It's quite versatile.
FWIW: Novus 1 didn't do a damn thing without lots of scrubbing action (I tried it too)
