So it seems like in my Funhouse's past life someone thought they would touch up the blue and just "carefully" spray paint without masking or removing anything. Yeah, that works well.

So I've got some nice overspray on mine. Any thoughts on if I can save this? I'd hate to try to track down a new one since they seem to be pricey and hard to find.

So options on saving this one?
If not, anyone have a nice one they would part with at a fair price?

try a little turpentine, or mineral spirits and use a microfiber cloth. I used one of those cleaners on my high speed beacon lens to remove some black over spray and it worked really well. Then I just waxed the beacon lens.
Try an inconspicuous spot first.

Vandal remover may work as well.
Go to Walmart. It's in the paint section. It's orange in color.

Good thought. Will give it a go tomorrow!

OK, tried mineral spirits, didn't do a thing. Tried goof off in one spot and it just ate into the plastic, so I think I'm just going to see about getting a replacement.

So...besides the one from classicarcades, anyone know where I can find one?

check the ebay listings, thought I saw a couple on there. One may have been in the completed listings that didn't sell, you could e-mail the seller and see if they still have it....

The only one up on ebay is from classicarcades. I've got stuff from them before and been way less then impressed, so I'm not really inclined to pick it up from them. None completed/unsold.

Except the bottom where it sits in the tract that should buff out pretty well, if it does not have any deep scratches.
Wet sand it with some 2000 or 3000 paper then buff it with some white polishing compound.
If your not comfortable doing that remove the glass from the display unit and send it down to me and I'll buff it for ya.

Agreed, the logical next step is to try and buff it out with a DA or random orbit polisher.

If you aren't experienced with using these, send it to someone who is. You can make it look much worse very quickly
