Well, mine was based on some math. Allowing for production time, an assumed production date, holidays(Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years), I believe it will be January. I hope I am wrong, and the sooner I get my game the better, but that is when I believe I will get it. As far as the 2015 comments go, someone asked a question and people chimed in. This is a forum, and people are going to post. If anyone takes that as bashing, then some introspection may be in order.
Well, if I get my game in early 2015, then it is very possible it will be shipped in January 2015. It may ship Jan 3, 2015, but that still is very possible. The point is, that we are still staying on topic. Again, I hope I am wrong, but that is what it is looking like.
Quoted from S37VEN:Yes it did. And his email also required immediate payment. This will be the last time I do this.
I agree. I don't mind paying a deposit, but once I paid in full, I want my game. I never gave anything much thought until I paid the difference and the delays started.
I have had a feeling that we wouldn't see our games till 2015. It is looking like that will be the case. I hope not, probably will be.
Quoted from PPS:and why would you think not. it is early sept. yes, we are still shooting for Oct ship date.
Quoted from PPS:And the purpose of the 2015 comments, again, just shake my head at some of you guys who have nothing to do but self-engrandize yourselves with posts that don't add any value, and only purpose is to post something. Oy. How do you guys 'think' 2015 would be the date based on ...?
rick
As several of us stated, 2015.......Now, the question is, When in 2015? I thought early 2015, but not really confident of that.
Quoted from RobT:Funny that the people who were supposedly pulling the 2015 date "out of their ass" were more correct than Rick.
I think it was funny as well. The only reason it really isn't funny is the fact I paid for this in June. A part of me is wondering if I will get The Hobbit before this one. I think we will see MMr around March.....I hope.
I really want this game as well. I have noticed that the customer service in the pinball industry is mostly horrible. A lot of problems can be avoided if one simply communicates honestly with their customer. You can't please everyone, but keeping everyone in the loop and being honest would alleviate a lot of these issues. Also, belittling your customers, or potential customers for that matter, is never smart.
Quoted from PPS:Good news is this all will be addressed for the 2nd game, as we will address all that did not work the way we wanted to for the 2nd-nth game ... so there will be very little future drama with the rest of the titles ...
I would love to see an AFMr, but I will not pay in full until the game is produced. If I can't do that, then I won't be a customer. Right now, I could care less about the 2nd game. what concerns me is that it doesn't appear to be any closer to being produced than it was a month ago.
Quoted from Shapeshifter:I will probably buy an AFMR but only if price is $6000 maximum.
No reason it can't be done for a Stern pro price - hopefully.
I have a feeling the next game released will be the same price. I was willing to buy MMr for 8k. Not sure about any other remakes.
Quoted from calvin12:I'm not expecting CV to be made, I'd like to see it made though. It didn't sell well as a location game but its not easy to get one now that they are in collections. I think it would sell but not as an 8K game. its 7K for one now. it would have to be 6k max to sell.
I think you are right about the 6k number, but I doubt we see any remake at that price. One thing that will hurt the next title is this. I don't think people are going to line up with deposits for the next title, so Rick and company are going to have to do it the old fashioned way. Produce it and sell them.
It's like I tell everyone that invests in the stockmarket. It's not a loss or profit until you sell. Everything else is imaginary gains and losses.
