Working on my Chicago Coin Big Top refinished the rifles and now the sighting is off by a good bit (I'm sure the rifle parts got mixed between the two players) any tips on sighting them in solo or is a helper pretty much required?

I have all the documentation but for some reason it doesn't cover it guess I will just have to enlist my wife to aim while I move the contact boards.
Found a drawing of the "sighting bracket" I think I actually have one one that came with the game I had no idea what it was for.
It was in the coin box mounts under the chain bracket with the barrel held by the round rubber piece
