First pin I ever played... Still fun today. Love the sound of the crashing waves.

#2 11 years ago

I used to own two of them. Fun player.

#3 11 years ago

Its an great game, lots of drop targets and plays pretty fast for an older game. I will not be selling mine as its one of the best classic Sterns.

#4 11 years ago

Don't own one, but I always thought it was fun and I like the artwork.

#5 11 years ago

Great game. Simple, no multiball, but pure fun! Love sweeping drop targets, and building the spinner value, and the different sounds it makes. Mine is working, but could use some love cosmetically. Hope they make a repro playfield.

#6 11 years ago

I love that game. Great artwork, great theme. I would pick one up for the right price if one came up.

#7 11 years ago

I would love to find one.

John is, as well as a Star Gazer, though the cutoff date for preorders is August 31st, so contact him asap if you want one. I really like the Seawitch and all my classic Sterns, but still a gaping hole in my collection is Star Gazer, but ordering the playfield and backglass so I'll have on hand when I finally find one.

Who do you contact for a repro pf?

Thanks.

#10 11 years ago

Very thankful there is one to play at Alameda. Neat game.

Love sea witch, it's my third favorite classic Stern. Rip tide!

#12 11 years ago

Title changed! LOL.

#13 11 years ago

I just finished clear coating and reassembling mine. My artist did some amazing touch up work and added some custom art.

I have one of his Nine Ball backglasses. It looks nice, but the colors are not near as rich as my original. I was hoping CPR would do one, but if John is doing it, I'm guessing they probably won't. Is he only making a small run? Or will they be available going forward?

#15 11 years ago

Seawitch is my favorite. I keep it in the kitchen next to Meteor. I love classic Stern drop targets.

From what he told me the cutoff date to order is September 1st, so he's probably only making the amount he has backorders for plus a few extra I would presume. I'll have to do a close comparison of his nine ball backglass and my original to see if I see what you do.

Speaking of which, to Dirty South, if you like this game you should really like other Sterns and Nine Ball is a great one to look out for, of all the classic Sterns I put more games on this than any other, Meteor probably second and Quicksilver third then Seawitch, then Catacomb and I can't put the rest in order but like them all, but really need the Star Gazer.

#17 11 years ago

I enjoy Seawitch so much I overpaid ($200 game+$400 shipping) to get one and have no regrets. It and Stargazer are my two favorite early Sterns although I am quite fond of several others. I spent my play money on a new Taxi playfield so I probably won't be able to get in on John's PFs before the promo price period ends. Oh well... Great back glass and art and sounds.

Yeah great game for sure. Love the 4 flipper frenzy and the wave crashing background sound. Although, when you wind it up you don't hear the background sound with all the point scoring going on. Then you are treated to the smooth escalating bonus count down at the end of the ball that lets everyone know you kicked some ass!

I love the speed of seawitch. Most people that play it for the first time are amazed when the ball comes around and drains in the first three seconds.

#41 11 years ago

I will pay good $$ for Big Game and Split Second playfields!!

#42 11 years ago

This is one I should of never gotten rid of.

I really like the looks of the white pop bumper skirts installed on your Seawitch.
