I'm currently building a little boiler to run some of my scale model steam engines.
Almost done with the boiler itself. Now I am making a whistle for it.
Took measurements from a full sized steam whistle, drew it up on Autocad.
Now I need to scale it down and make drawings. Then the fun begins!

Thank you!
un-machined castings are available from this guy: https://www.myersengines.com/engines/rider-ericsson.htm
There is a surprising amount of stuff like this out there!
Cabinfeverexpo.com Is worth a visit if you are into that sort of thing.
I use a lathe and milling machine to build my engines.

Quoted from cottonm4:I see your glasses in the back of the pic.
Throw down a dollar bill for size relationship. Please.
It's at work, and I'm home for the weekend!
I would say it's about 8" high and 5" long.
Quoted from Viggin900:".... Do you have any plans for it to do any work?"
It can run the little pump for the cooling water, but not really anything else.
Stirling engines have virtually no power, and are difficult to govern the speed.
There is a reason that you don't see them in use nowadays.
The big ones are rare, expensive and difficult to move around.
no....it's more of a curiosity than anything else.
