the last 2 alltek mpu's i have installed have had issues. on the first( bally power play) it wouldnt play the start up tune when you press the credit button to start a game. it play the start up tune on booting. did a ram clear, and tried it with and without free play, no different. not a big deal, but the owner isnt happy. today, i put one in a 6 million $ man. in free play, would not turn on the credit light, or start a game . this is with it set to free play. credit button works in test mode. oddly, if i set it to power play, star trek, or another game i cant remember, the credit light works, and it starts a game. i ended up doing a kitchen table repair of the orig board and the game works well. any feedback is appreciated. thanks

It looks like for Bally freeplay option, the credit display function has to be disabled

For #bobby-orrs-power-play it looks like there are different dipswitch settings for the "melody options" https://www.ipdb.org/files/1858/Bally_1978_Power_Play_Manual.pdf

Before you set the DIP switches on the Alltek board for your specific game, first clear it's memory (the manual explains how to do it).
