The Chimes on our Bally Captain Fantastic are way out of tune.
I purchased the rebuild kit from PBR but it just has coil sleeves, grommets and copper fittings.
Even after upgrading with all the new parts the noise is horrible. They are way off key.
Does anyone sell just the three chime bars? I can't seem to find them anywhere.
Yea, tuning them sounds like a huge pain in the ass. Plus you can only shave off and not add metal.
Surely someone sells pre tuned chimes.
No among of tightning and loosening the nuts on the top helps at all.
My chime unit is completely rebuilt so it has to be the chime bars fault.
I have lots of EM's and have never had this problem.

Great question. But they are.
Did not have time to record anything today. Hopefully tomorrow.
When the 10's and the 100's chime together the sound is enough to make your entire body cringe.
We have probably owned over 20 EM's and I have never had a problem like this one.
