No...funny i was just looking at my board in the basement yesterday though. And of course when I'm old & phased out the town opens a frikken skate park; typical.

Quoted from Rum-Z:

Hahaha, too true! I woulda loved having the Ann Arbor skatepark, or heck, almost any of the skateparks that exist in most metropolitan areas back in the 80's when I was really into it. Back then, we had to build our own ramps or hit the street and dodge the police. Granted, there was a certain charm to all the underground ramps and skate spots. It was a cool scene, but man, seeing all these awesome pools that exist nowadays makes me envious.

Yeah Ann Arbor was weary of it because they had a classic 80s flub of building a massive halfpipe. Like sweet, sounds awesome, you're 11 year old and you're going to skate a 12 foot pipe or whatever it was...I don't think so. No one used it and it rotted away.

I'm sure 99% of you have seen this pic in the gameroom thread but here it is again. Decks take up less space than bikes & pinballs!

Nice. I had a bunch of Hosoi boards I don't know what happened to. Psycho Stick was my first deck. After a few years I think I finally settled into Mini-Ripsaws; had a few of them.

First board I ever grip taped myself. Can you tell I'm a pinhead?

...My friend's ramp that I used ride regularly is gone. It had to be relocated as he was selling his house...

Kinda hard to replace something like that eh?
Awesome.
