might be in New Orleans
Isn't there a place called the "Pinball Church" around there?
Not sure if the casinos (on the water front) would have them.
Hell, if I were in N.O. for another week, I'd spend all my time on Bourbon Street drinkin' and listening to hot jazz. That is a seriously fun town.
You may want to check out some of the places listed on Pinside Pin Map.
Local Pinsiders have updated the entries in the past year or so is my guess.
Keep zooming in until you can click on individual locations, then read the details listed for each and/or call the place first to try and help you determine if you think it is worth going to.
Frostops does have good icecream rootbeer floats, but perhaps not the most awesome selection of pins.
You can also try contacting N.O. area Pinsiders listed on the Pinside Pin Map. Unknown if a meet-up will work out on short notice.
Please understand that Louisiana is not the epicenter of pinball in the USA or in the world.
There's one of those beercades that are popping up in every city now, near Canal by the river. they have a few pins.
This all being said...
good God man, you are in New Orleans! Find something else to do besides pinball.
Also Gold Mine or Gold Rush had a SouthPark at some point. They had a dresscode and would not let me in in a t-shirt and jeans so I don't know the condition of machine.
Went by Mick's tonight (in town on business).... same three games. T2 was filthy, many lights out, busted right ramp, database not working. Worked my tail off to get to 49M. Highest score was 109M. FT has a DMD that's half out. Dirty. But plays well, or at least better than T2. CFTBL looked ok, but didn't even try to play it.
