Heading on a business trip to Boise ID next week.
Any good places to play some pinball?

Grinkers has some machines, although they are mostly arcades. Lots of rare arcades there.

    Slim pickings.

Grinkers in Eagle, 15-20 minutes from downtown. They have many arcade machines and about 8 pins. Star Wars, terminator, cyclone etc. in OK condition and all are 25 cents. Serve beer and reportedly make a good sandwich. Can have lots of kids, go the last hour before closing.

Space bar downtown has a few machines but I never play there.

Cactus bar downtown has TSPP. Nice machine but the bar is a little seedy.

Flying Pie on State street about 10 minutes from downtown has a very tired MB but it was serviced recently. I play it pretty regularly. Great place for a beer and pizza. Recommend ordering the Triple Pi beer on tap (alc = Pi x 3). Great pizza. Played that machine Sunday night.

There's a Walking Dead at the airport

Unfortunately it's in the secure area. The only time I ever get to play it is when I'm flying out.

Pinball is tough to find out here. The pin map on pinside is fairly accurate.

Found Grinkers in Eagle. WOW! What a place! Great 80's machines , 80's music, IPAs on tap, Dimly lit ambience. Awesome!

I was just out there this week for work also. I mentioned pinball, and my coworker took me to a pizza place for lunch that had a pizza and salad buffet, but I forget the name, and don't see it on the map. Maybe a mile or two north east of the airport??

They had a Waterworld and Sharkey's Shootout that were well maintained. Any locals know the name of the place I am talking about? It needs to be added to the map.

That TWD at the airport was well maintained as well, and promptly cleaned me out of ones.

Yes, Grinkers is cool. They're adding on, so they can have 60 more machines.

A number of the Idaho Pizza's, and Boise theaters have a pinball machine or two

Bought a home 6 minutes away from Grinkers because I fell in Love.

Woodland Empire serves their own delicious local beer and i just recently took over their pinball operation. If anyone is ever visiting be sure to stop in there and let me know how they play! (Which should be great, unless im waiting on parts).

Spacebar also has a great lineup of pins and rotating beers on tap and is just a rad spot; do not pass them up!
