These types of threads are weird to me because I don't know of a single pinball operator that is raking it in as it's implied.

I find the whole match thing so old school. I've watched many people walk away from machines with credits on it because they didn't even know it was a thing. And Godzilla (which is what this thread is about) has given players new things to play for, with the Stern Insider. I'm not sure the need to reward free games like olden times.

Well, and then you add the reality of pinball that a free game actually costs the operator in wear and tear.
