Another good one from Tatuaje I think these are supposed to be one of their better ones?

Since these are small I’ve got time for another from the Tatuaje holiday. This was in the factory wrapper so burned a little drier. Still good but like the above better. Even though a little milder.

Have you smoked the black label or L’Atelier from that calendar yet? Those are two of my favorites from Tatuaje.

I want to say no. I googled them both to check.

(Okay I went down and looked for sure not the L’Atelier)

It appears I have this in a larger size too from a sampler I got…somewhere….is that a black label in their larger size too?

I’m excited for the pumpkin too.

I had to sneak a little Caldwell humor in there too. I either got that one from you or from USMCSGT0331 cant remember

You’ll enjoy those two L’Atelier… the black labels are a black band with white stripes and white lettering, I don’t see any in the photo. USMCSGT0331 Must have provided the Caldwell, as the only ones I have came from you, lol.

I had an expensive lunch break today. I had a job exactly 1 mile from here so I couldn’t resist.

Of course I had to visit their Tatuaje section

Quoted from titanpenguin:

Never taking that guys advice again. Way to sweet on the draw. Was not expecting that at all from a non flavored cigar.

For inexperienced cigar smokers, the sweeter cigars are often a safer bet, because the sweetness of the cigar dilutes the nicotine hit many people cannot tolerate. I gave a box of Fat Bottom Bettys to a good friend and he loves them!

It's very odd, but I've never had any kind of sensation (nicotine buzz) from smoking a cigar. Not even in the slightest.
If I took one drag on a cigarette, and inhaled the smoke, I'm sure I'd be dizzy.

I was sitting in a comfy chair watching the game in our cigar club. I had 2 Cubans. When I stood up nearly 3 hours later, I almost fell over....big buzz!

I don't generally feel much nicotine buzz from cigars either. However, I've learned NOT to wipe down dirty old pinball cabinets without plastic gloves on. After hitting one particularly brownish nicotine stained em some time ago, I had a huge buzz. Heart a little skippy, light headed, the works! Must have absorbed a ton of nicotine through my bare skin when squirting the cabinet down with Fantastic and wiping with paper towels. Never again! LOL!

For “fun” I tried a RyJ from a fresh box and it took me 3 nights to smoke it all it was so strong. Just wanted to see how potent they were. Going to let them rest until 2024 or 2025

Seriously? You think you absorbed that much nicotine through your hands from residue on a pinball cabinet, yet you don't feel any effects from smoking a cigar? That seems amazing.

My only guess is that the fantastic does a great job of dissolving the cigarette smoke and nicotine which runs down the sides of the cabinet in brown rivers. Wiping it up with paper towels and bare hands probably let's it adsorb through the skin quickly. All I know is now I wear plastic gloves on really dirty cabinets and I don't get the buzz!

I never got a nicotine buzz from cigars. Cigarettes are a different thing. A couple of deep inhales and my head spins. Gave them up 15 years ago.

For me, I think it is related to the pace of smoking. I keep a nice leasurely pace, just smoking often enough to keep the cigar lit. If I smoked a robusto in 1/2hr, I’m sure the nicotine would hit me.

The exception for me is the Salomones…. I love that cigar, but I need to have a root beer with it or my head will be swimming. 7 1/4” by 57RG in Partagas is a monster cigar.

Root beer goes with about everything. My favorite is Virgil's. Lots of good spices compatible with most cigars.
