Street Taco. Really good smoke!

I smoked one today. Some complex notes to it for sure.
Hey guys- Just a quick public service announcement. My wife bought some cigars for me a while back from Cigars International. Apparently there is some small print during the order process that she didn't see which tells them to start charging you a monthly $14.95 for some special club membership that from what I can see provides no known benefit.
She is trying to get them to remove the charges but according to others on-line this is a known scam they use and they are very uncooperative about refunding the monthly charges.

I’ll bet Thompson is even worse.
I HAVE had good experiences with them YEARS ago but a lot of horror stories from them too.
My personal favorites are Fox and BCP. I’ve ordered from a few that spfxted and PlanetExpress have recommended on here and have had good luck with them too.
Their overall rating is pretty poor, but I'm sure that you can find complaints to BBB about any number of these outfits.

Not commenting on their quality, as I haven’t been a customer for ages, but Thompson and Cigars International are both owned and operated by Scandinavian Tobacco Group.
I’ve always received great service from these small businesses: Small Batch (LA), NewHavanna (CBus, but online only), UpDown (Chicago).
Quoted from EJS:This is hard to describe. I like the Fuerte slightly more. Still very delicious

Have you tried the green band Fuerte? I’ve never been a Colorado cigar fan, but something in that smoke just works right.

I haven’t. It appears I have their Sixto II which is a black band version I’m guessing just a different wrapper. But I have not smoked it yet.
Maybe I need to pick up a box?
Quoted from jrpinball:Can't complain about this one.
More than a decent two hour smoke.

To me, CAO is the brand with the most varied product quality, one can be a great, then the next is a garbage fire. It’s so hard to remember which ones are good that I just avoid the brand and go to a reliable option.

I've heard that about CAO, but the two different ones I have had were both good. I enjoyed a CAO America a couple of months back, and it was outstanding.

I feel like I've seen that exact same glass in many of your posts. Must be your go to drink. Iced Tea? Something else?

I got a few CAO Brazilians for free from my buddy that owns the local shop. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s not something I’d regularly buy or smoke, but it was much better than I anticipated. Balanced flavors. Easy to smoke. Burned good.
Quoted from sepins:Hurricane coming. Time to open a great box of cigars.

A one liter beer glass. Bourbon and Ginger Ale. Nothing extravagant.

Opus X, never the wrong answer.. great choice
This is how I celebrate blowing the GI on the left side of my Road Show, after changing two out-lane bulbs, with the power off. Hooray for me! It’s stuff like this that makes me want to give up pinball.
El Rey del Mundo, Choix Supreme and a wee dram of JW Green (my favorite blended malt).

How is it? I still have their Ox from spfxted I keep looking at not knowing when to smoke it.

Very tasty.. The skinnier format works well for this blend.
Just (pre)ordered a box of Blackened by Drew Estate.
I'm not a Metallica diehard fan but enjoy a better part of their music as I do enjoy a better part of Drew Estate so what could go wrong?
Ian did a number on Cuba's prime tobacco producing region. Not good.

The FOH folks are doing a fundraiser raffle for one of the affected families (the cart to purchase raffle tickets isn’t up yet): https://www.fohcigars.com/forum/topic/153952-helping-out-a-family-in-pinar-del-rio-heads-up-about-tomorrows-fundraiser/

That's not good news. Even before Ian, the places I usually deal with have been out of many of my favorites, and the prices of some of the others have absolutely SKYROCKETED! Prices on some brands have gone from $15-18 per stick up to $40! Maybe I'll have better luck with other suppliers, or I'll just have to stick to the Nicaraguans for now.
Quoted from PlanetExpress:spfxted isn’t the only one with crazy shaped bottles….
Cool bottle!

Ditto. I still have a decent inventory, but it's very doubtful I'll ever buy another box of Cohiba or Trinidad again.

RyJ still around at a decent price. A few months ago I picked up Super Partagas which are like the Coke Zero of Cubans and those are gone now too.

You're the "Bottle King"!
Hey. Found this in my dad's basement. Unopened. From the 1950s easy. Bols ballerina. Apricot liqueur.
