I've never bought from this place, but they have over 50 boxes in stock and a great price at $135:

emersons is good, I've used them in the past. You guys are making me go dig my last few skinny monsters out of the humi to join the fun!
smokin' a Man O' War Armada corona right now, one of my all time favorites

how many in a box of those? I'm almost done with my box of perfection#4 and those are like short coronas right? might have to see if I can find some before I'm out!

39 per box, petit coronas. Good like finding them, I've only seen 4 or 5 boxes in the past decade and I've had 3 of them. Try not to pay any crazy prices either.

I got a box from the same place shipping took forever! Those are the only ones I've ever seen at a dealer and the box of 39 is currently sold out. There's some singles left though. Nice score on that box! I didn't think they'd be able to get more. You're going to like them, it's a great size for Opus and they're perfect to hand out to friends.

Pussy Cats used to be My go to cigar.

Then found these Maduros and got spoiled!

Maduro? Thought those were Rosado? Either way, they're a damn good cigar!

#2713 2 years ago

It is Rosado. But also Oscuro and that denotes Aged darkest wrapper.

Makes sense! Now I want to pick up a box of those cigars!

Trying out another new (to me) stick from my PlanetExpress trade. Tastes really good after power washing and lawn mowing. Getting pinballplusMN childhood home ready for sale.

Wanted something nice but not TOO nice tonight. This his the spot. Better than the last one I had ironically from the same box.

Right now, a La Flor de Cano Petit Corona. These are perfect when squeezed for time. The cedar wrapping makes for some bonus cedar spills for lighting.

Local cigar shop was almost giving these away so who am I to say no. This is as much as I’m willing to show on pinside without getting moderated. It’s….alright.

San Juan and Spice Tree… Nice combo. If you like toasty oak flavors in whisky, Spice Tree is a good choice.

Alright I have to call it quits this far in.

Can anyone recommend a good cleanser should I wish to have another cigar tonight?

Unflavored seltzer, the more fizzy the better.

Ted’s is out of Kentucky and is a lot more about packaging and controversy than quality. At least they’re cheap (not like Gurkha’s $100MSRP, but on sale for 99% off).

Alright I hit the level 3 on my sodastream, normally level 1 is plenty for me. I feel like I'm getting more co2 than water each sip haha.

The lancero monsters were great, as I’m partial to long skinny cigars.

#2729 2 years ago

Right now - an Ave Maria Knights Templar (toro), and a vodka/gin martini (I don’t like olives - don’t judge me). And I’m also reading a few chapters of a James Bond novel “Licence Renewed.”

Lanceros are the best size! Enjoyed a Skinny Chuck with a double espresso after dinner tonight

Another sipper from the PlanetExpress collection. I forgot to post last nights smoke so there’s the band off to the side.

How much time does she normally spend in the garage?

I keep my stinky pinballs out here too while I smoke. Their smelling like cigars is actually a step up from what they were originally.

Great deal at Cigars Int! You get all the swag from the cancelled convention for $99...THEN they give you $100 in CI cards! Nice deal, and I took it!

Thanks for the link!! I love all of the different swag from Cigarfest. I did not know that this year’s was also cancelled. I am still thinking about attending The Big Smoke this year.

#2740 2 years ago

Yeah, about 10 of my friends jumped on it right away. It's free stuff!
I usually only go to CigarFest because it's only about an hour and 35 minutes from me!

I've been eyeballing some RyJ Cazadores (Habanos). I think I've seen some of you fine folks here post about these. Opinions? How long do they need to age?

I’m not a fan of most RyJ, but love the Cazadores. I keep mine in the foil and find 4-5yrs is perfect (I’m working through a ‘16 box now, and just put a ‘21 box down in my long term cooler).

I’d say grab a box and try one a year until you find the right age for you. I know a lot of guys smoke them at 2yrs (with some dry boxing, I assume).

There’s a break in the rain, so I’m hitting the deck with a RASS and some fine Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit.

I’ll keep you posted on this. I have a fresh box that arrived to my house same week as PlanetExpress got his and I have one stick that has been aged for 4 years (was it?) or is it the 2016 box?

I’m trying to figure out how to do a good comparison of the two and I’m not shy about tying one right away.

Is there a good reason to keep them in the foil? Not sure if I left mine in or not.

#2748 2 years ago

I think this is my second time with this. Have another slightly larger.
