Quoted from pudealee:

what do you use for humidification?

I use 100qt Igloo marine coolers with 6 60g Boveda packs in each one. I hot glued a Spanish cedar board to the lid of each coolerdor and hit it with a spritz of distilled water when the Boveda packs start getting a little flat. Keeping them in the basement keeps a nice steady temp and the Boveda packs are pretty bulletproof.

That’s a lot of tobacco for $9 and I’m surprised it’s not that bad. I bought it for the novelty and to show you folks.

Getting some upgrades done on one of the miners tonight

For humidification, I use ExquisiCat Crystal cat litter and DI water to get it damp. Works exactly the same as the humidification beads you buy in the store and it’s much cheaper.

I’ve had the same jug for about a decade.

Smoking one of my favorites tonight while watching a basketball game I had no interest in. Fun group though.....

I thought I was having a new one but I think this is my second time with this Caldwell. Blind mans bluff maduro. I think there’s one more to try.

Place I’m going to now got another cigar shipment in so will have more things to try.

Great choice, I went to their cigar event at Jungle Jim’s and the King is Dead was the stand out to me, too. I hope cigar events come back to JJ’s, they were always a great time.

You guys see this? Mercy!!

It's like an NIB TOTAN or Big Bang Bar, or some other unobtanium game.

“ a more recent 10-count box of Cohiba Behike BHK 56 cigars from 2013 sold for £3,400 ($4,720)”

I smoked my box of BHK52 from ‘13… they we’re great. Guess I did my part to increase the rairity. I now use the box for dry boxing.

Little Sancho Panza tonight.

Way too hot and sticky to enjoy anything and don’t have the energy to go to my friends house to smoke inside. I just got home from work.

I’m in a couple of monthly cigar clubs since last year and this one just opened up 500 spots for new members. I’ve really enjoyed the unique cigars from this club and the service and constant communication to its members thru YT FB IG has been refreshing and fun. Just a heads up for you cigar heads, highly recommended...

Some vintage cigar smoking accessories I've had for a few decades, the cutter is more recently made and it damascus (pattern welded steel, not wootz) with fossilized mammoth ivory. The ashtrays and cigar holder are pretty old, they're solid silver and elephant ivory. Figured you cigar nerds might also find them interesting!

The tea table everything on is a sold slab of 50,000 year old Kauri wood, the grain running through it is out of this world!

I have read many positive things about this website, the general consensus is they are a legitimate retailer. (I have not ordered thru them myself just passing on what I have read.

I’ve not tried iHavanas, but I’ve heard several reports of CC fraud happening to customers, possibly linked to the processing firm iHavanas uses.

This thread is a good read for anyone checking up on an online vendor: https://www.reddit.com/r/cubancigars/comments/nwuqly/places_not_to_purchase_bad_experiences/

Couldn’t wait on my box of Partagas no 4

It’s like popping it into your mouth right out of the stove. Think I’ll wait awhile for them to simmer down before another. Still very delicious. Sitting in the garage during a rainstorm. We’ve gotten more rain in the last hour than the last 3 months I’d say.
