This one started out pretty mild and it continues to be pretty mild. I’m hoping things pick up soon. Complexity is decent for a $10+ stick but was hoping for a little more. I’m about 1/2” in right now. I’ve got a RP vintage 1992 on standby if needed haha. My first PinSound arrived today too!

I like your combo a little better but enjoyed mine plenty still.
I’m back inside with some Johnnie Walker Black.

Don’t worry I had two beer before with dinner an IPA and Kiltlifter to start
Quoted from spfxted:How was it??
I didn’t have any expectations outside of the fact it was a cohiba. I liked it, tasted a little lighter for a cohiba. I’d have it again but since it’s priced similar to the “regular” red dots I would just stick with the regular ones. Had a good finish which is about 1/3 of my deciding factor when buying something again.
I worked on a video down in the Dominican Republic but didn't know exactly what the subject was about. First hour upon arriving we were in the office of the president of Davidoff. Spent 4 days shooting everything from seed culture, growing, fermenting and wrapping. Pretty amazing. Right before we left on my hotel room was a box of Davidoff Cigars as a parting gift.

You DO know it's my Birthday Saturday, right?
Hey Ted -
Finally found a reliable source for Cubans. Got kinda hooked on the Monte Cristo #2's. What can you recommend to try in the 10-15/stick range, medium body?

If you can find them, the Diplomaticos #2 is very close to the Monte #2. I still have a 8 of them that are pushing 5.5 years old, and another sealed box is on deck. Bolivar Royal Corona is a good one as well.

and if we are talking this size, Partagas Serie D No.4 is nice!
Time to bump this thread. With the cold weather I’ve been taking a cigar break. Tonight I’m able to get the garage heated up again. I keep returning to this MF. So delicious. Pairing with soda stream water. Doing a sobriety stint to wrap up the month.

At the place I have recently started going to I finally ran into the owner and provided him with some positive feedback about his business and his employees and he showed his appreciation with this....

Nice cigar, don’t remember than can. Wish they would bring back the Bud Bowl commercials and Frogs commercials.
When I enjoy an LFD Chisel, I take a punch cutter to one side of the flat end (not all the way through), so when I smoke it the smoke hits the tongue right off the bat.

I have wanted to try that but haven’t. To my surprise my first shallow cut gave an easy draw so didn’t want to do another. Good burn too wasn’t dry.
No smoking for me tonight but I stopped by a fellow pinheads place tonight who hooked me up with these. They have been sitting for a few years so in desperate need of humidification. I’m worried some of the Cohibas might be too far gone (cracked wrapper) but we shall see.

Here’s what I’ve used for over 10 years. You can line the insides with cedar from extra boxes at your local shop. A purist might tell you it doesn’t “breathe” like a true humi but I’ve never had any concerns. I never had any issues with plastic smell but wouldn’t hurt to wash it good with cold water when you get it home.
