...and stop burying your cigars!
Quoted from Jackontherocks:It buried nice but I thought pretty fast smoke for the ring size
Had it made. He can possibly make more. I can provide info. A few people from this Thread have ordered from Dan.
Love those! Will be at the Chiller Convention this weekend. If you're near the Parsippany Hilton in Jersey, stop down for a stogie and some tequila!
Love that beer! First time I had one it scared the hell out of me when I heard something moving around in the can!
Yes, there are two versions. The FFP is the longer one. Not cheap though. At a Cigar Shop about $24.
Quoted from bridgeman:Be sure take a moment today to stop and remember those who gave their lives, that give us the freedom of choice we have in our country!!
Well said!
Quoted from swillie:Smoked the band...didn't notice any significant change in flavor, but was pretty cool anyway.
How was the cigar? Worth getting a few?
Quoted from swillie:Nice...love Liga, some of my favorite, had a #9 recently...
One of my favorites!
IMG-5159 (resized).JPGQuoted from swillie:I agree...just curious Ted, what is your favorite cigar, your stranded on a deserted island cigar?
The Cuban Partagas Solomon is right up there.
We social gather all the time. Usually 4 or 5 at a time. Everybody brings their own cutter and lighter. Only top of the line liquor and cigars. Fire pit. Food delivered. We're all good, man....

Yes!! The Ligas are mostly all fantastic!
Quoted from EJS:I got one of those in the robusto last night too I haven’t had one before are they good or have you yet to experience them?
They are good. I've had most of the My Father's....nice smoke.
Nothing like having a good cigar and great tequila.....oh, and a shitty Giants team!!

Where did you get this?
IMG-2722 (resized).jpgQuoted from EJS:Maybe we need to pick a day and we both give them a try.
Sure. Mine should be here in a few days.
ratzilla cigar (resized).jpgQuoted from Spyderturbo007:I thought of putting it in my garage and opening the door, but I'm not sure how much heat radiates from the top. I don't want to burn down my house.
The one I have is rated for indoors. A garage with open door should be fine. It also depends on how powerful you go. Inside a garage you don't need much. Heat does come off the top, but it sits on the floor. I wouldn't put it any higher. ...and by the way, smoked this today while watching the Giants kick some Eagle ass! (great smoke)
viaje cigar (resized).jpgWatched football last night on the deck with a few buddies. Heater made everything fine. It was 38 degrees....smoked a Romeo Nicaraguan...
So they have this one day sale on Niceash.com ....Liga Privada! Great deal...got me a box of some Rats! Overnight Bag! Tin of T52's! Liga Socks! Wallet! Leather Luggage Tags! Cuff Links!! AND 3 extra DE cigars!!!

Right before we left on my hotel room was a box of Davidoff Cigars as a parting gift.
You DO know it's my Birthday Saturday, right?

One of my new favorite cigars.....
Quoted from EJS:I bought one but saving it for this week
If you like those scented cigars, these are the best....
I don't mind them every now and then. Excellent quality from Drew Estate.
I just don't store them with the regular cigars....
Quoted from EJS:Hmmm if I bumped the temperature down to 65° what would you recommend for humidity? I’m just trying to plan for winter. I’m very tempted to pick one of those up.
If I went lower is there a disadvantage for finding a satisfactory humidity?
You want to keep as close to 70 - 70 as possible.
Quoted from USMCSGT0331:I have no idea what I'm going to do with this box, it's probably the only one left in existence and I just can't bring myself to open it. Just figured you guys might think it's interesting
Fantastic!!!
Quoted from jrpinball:Ok. See you there. I met you at Vic Camp's, and at Rob's cookout in Nanuet a few years back. That was a great time!
We need to do that more often! Where do you live?
Quoted from PlanetExpress:Pairing a $25 scotch with a $125+ cigar….
Remind me never to buy cigars from where you buy.....
Quoted from EJS:and I’m comfortable staying SLIGHTLY on the dry side for good measure.
I find that usually true. I don't like a "spongy" cigar....
OK guys and gals! Just got back from a PA vacation. Hung out for dinner, drinks and cigars at the always fantastic Best Cigar Pub! (Best Cigar Prices owns it)
Great food, excellent humidor. So I say to the manager.....pick 15 of your favorite cigars, price is no object. I came home with these...and a few others. (the Davidoff alone was $33! Some of them were actually my favorites as well!
Quoted from PlanetExpress:I’m surprised no Tatuaje or Illusione made the list
It did! The Special Pumpkin Cigar is a Tatuaje and Illusione was one not shown.
Quoted from swillie:What’s that one with the jackolantern on it? What a great haul!
Tatuaje...see above....
Yes, that's it! Yeah, that thick bacon situation is fantastic. And the Seafood Platter was excellent!
......sheesh! been smoking my friend's Acid cigars for 9 hours.....and Clase Azul tequila, of course.....
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:It’s probably 8-10 years old so maybe it should be replaced?
YES!
Just got the PerfecDraw! I have plenty of toys, but never enough!!
Sheesh! Lost internet for a few days. Tree down. Eased the pain tonight with a Liga T52! ....and some Clase Azul!
Just finished 2 hand rolled cigars from a party. (with some Jefferson's instead of tequila) They were actually good!
Quoted from attyrhodes:I haven't seen that Patel before, how was it?
Actually very good.
Tonight's smoke....
Quoted from EJS:There’s a few by my house but they are $5 overpriced per stick in my opinion. Maybe I’ll buy just one…
Yeah, I had 2, but at $20 a stick......
ahhhh...an mj12 for now....
Quoted from EJS:I think those are the ones?
If that’s the going rate I’ll go clear out my local shop tomorrow
How much are they by you??
Quoted from PlanetExpress:Smoke Inn has them in stock at $11
Thanks! Just put in a nice order!
Screen Shot 2021-08-17 at 1.23.32 PM (resized).pngQuoted from EJS:I want to say between $13 and $15 I just got home for lunch maybe I’ll stop by before my next call.
Pick up a couple for meeee....
Quoted from EJS:Getting some rubber rings on order tonight
WHOA!! Your not gonna believe this! I had THIS today!! (insert Twilight Zone music)!
hoyo de m cuba cigar (resized).jpgQuoted from EJS:You don’t say….Woohooooo this is some fresh flavor!
I've tried about 5 different cigars of theirs...i like them!
Quoted from EJS:And mine for tonight….
Hey pal...did the signed Cigar Case get there?
Quoted from EJS:Yessir post 2591 is the generous stick from you. I’m trying to hold off on the 52 as long as I can.
AHHH! lol...didn't even make the connection...DUH! Was just sitting on the deck with a cigar tequila and Matt Damon!
IMG_0937 (resized).jpgQuoted from USMCSGT0331:I just opened this box of original release Aurora 100 Anos, the serial numbers on the bands are around 1,000, so these are super early! This box isn't in standard Aurora packaging because it came out of Fernando Leon's personal walk-in humidor at his office. After he passed, some boxes were given to his family/friends. A friend of mine ended up with it and gave it to me about a decade ago. Can't wait to finally smoke one!
WHOA!!
Quoted from pudealee:To me, the Vegueros Centrofinos is one of the best value-for-money sticks in the Habanos line up.
I have yet to try one! .....I DID try the Gurka knock of of the Liga Flying Feral Pig.....eh, so-so.....
