Time for a new flavor tonight. Macanudo gold I’ve actually never had one. The torpedo looks almost identical to Duke of Windsor. I want an easy draw tonight so I cut it deeper than I probably should.

Yes it’s an LFD but this one is the FPL. Still has the familiar taste but a little different. Just a little more spendy at $11
Well I went a little crazy tonight dropped a bit of coin on some sticks tonight. I have plenty of new things to try out.
Since I’m a known fanboy of LFD I couldn’t pass up this gem. They only had two of these so I got both. Check out the change in wrapper on both ends but more obviously the football embedded.

To me, the Latte version is the best, then Maduro. Red is OK, but to me Mint is like I'm smoking a Eucalyptus plant.

Yeah I tried the variety pack that comes with two of each flavor I hardly got through the mint one and tossed the second one. I know they aren’t the cheapest and rarely do I toss a stick but it felt like pop rocks were going off in my mouth or something. I’m guessing it’s similar to the menthol experience etc. hard pass for me.
Looking to get some mild/medium cigars to share with my brother in law for xmas stocking stuffer. Any recommendations on a okay to good cigars for that? I figured I'd get 2 of each and a few different kinds so we could share them.

You can’t go wrong with Macanudo. Mild, good quality and won’t break the bank. More importantly; easy to find. Most of what I’ve been posting recently is mild to medium. Perdomo is pretty good too. If you want to make sure you are going mild A Fuente is also easy to find. Get something in a darker wrapper if you want to go medium.
If you are feeling adventurous and want to spend a little more check out Gurkha.
I’ve been smoking a lot of Carlos Torano recently that’s medium with some good flavors.

Haha I couldn’t keep a straight face while posting the above either.
Tonight’s combo - Quai D’Orsay Coronas Claro and some green label Heaven Hill. This version of HH is literally a bottom shelf bourbon available only in Kentucky. A great pour, and one of the best value-for-money bourbons. If you’re ever in the Bluegrass state, I recommend picking some up.

My cigar lounge/game room in my basement is open year round. However before I built that I would use one of these propane double burners. Seriously in the dead of winter you will be comfortable in a tee shirt sitting in front of this thing. It burns pretty efficiently too, one tank will last for many hours.

I head to my friends house who has a house size furnace in the garage. When my company vehicle gets close to being traded in I’ll partake in there too and just deionize it before turning it in.

Smokedale tobacco in Hudson WI. They have 3 walk in Humi and a huge 4th one not accessible to the public. I’ve been meaning to take pics of the place to post here. One of the humis is the old vault of the bank the business sits in. One of my first pics in this thread is their $1000 a stick Gurkhas.
The kid who works there really knows his stuff and knows I like unusual stuff so when more cool oddities come in I’ll be sure to grab them.
Quoted from spfxted:Thanks! Just found them at Corona Cigar online and ordered 5......can't wait. Football on Sunday!!

If you don’t mind my asking what was the price on them?
