IMG_0176 (resized).JPGQuestion for all you cigar lovers.
I had a baby boy 5 weeks ago and I would like to hand out cigars to celebrate. Of course with the coronavirus quarantine we can’t have anyone over to celebrate.
So I am thinking about delivering a gift pack with a cigar and a beverage to those I want to celebrate with.
What do you think? Should I wait until this is over and have a proper party, or send out gifts?
Is it bad form to offer cigars during a pandemic that attacks your respiratory system?
I don't know about anybody else, but I would be thrilled to celebrate your new addition with a nice cigar!

I decided I’m going to deliver some quarantine cigars this weekend. It would be nicer to share a cigar with my friends. But who knows when we will be able to have social gatherings again.
We social gather all the time. Usually 4 or 5 at a time. Everybody brings their own cutter and lighter. Only top of the line liquor and cigars. Fire pit. Food delivered. We're all good, man....

For anyone that’s smoking that many, or anyone wanting a budget cigar, I have 2 recommendations: JFR Lunatic and Providencia El Santo. Just a fair warning, both these sticks aren’t exactly “beginner” choices. They’re a bit on the full side but not crazy big draws.
By the way, one of the few states in the nation where you can go into a bar, order a scotch or craft beer, light a cigar and play pinball is...Oklahoma.

Cowboys or Sooners?

Sorry should have clarified. I buy my smokes from BCP and occasionally they will include a tray with purchase of a box of cigars. I think they did this with Ashton and a couple other brands if I recall. I've never seen the square version before.
I've never had good luck with butane lighters and ironically the freebees seem to last longer so I try to get lighters this way too.
Getting more into Cigars...mostly consumed with a nice glass of Bourbon. Had these two earlier this week, a CAO 660 flathead and a Hoyo de Monterey Excalibur. Enjoyed both. Any recommendations for a newbie to try?

Yes!! The Ligas are mostly all fantastic!
Sorry no pics but just finished up a Baccarat with a maduro wrapper....with a little Patron.
I have 2 Rocky Patels left. Vintages of years I can't remember. It's the one with the dark red band and the silvery blue band.
