With all the Tat Frank talk, I had to dig one out. I don’t recall if this is the OG or the Redux.

What’s the length? I think the OG was slightly shorter.

#6254 35 days ago

Yeah that things huge, it’s probably the Redux

They were both the same 7 5/8” x49rg. Smoking well, but it’s a looong smoke

Round 2. Been a while since I’ve had one of these things.

Did they make a special size for the monster mash?

Quoted from EJS:

Yes, that was part of the gimmick for the Monster Mash, they made each of the previous monsters but 1.5” shorter.

#6262 34 days ago

Very easy draw on this one. Creamy and spicy.
Massive smoke output. I'm liking it.

Ted, is that at Casa de Montecristo in Whippany?

#6264 34 days ago

PSA: Small Batch just added HVC Cerro Robusto to their blowout code. Under $5/stick is a great deal on a really tasty cigar. (Login to the site before adding to cart, then use code “blowout”).

That must have been the one I had that wasn't the same length as the others.

That is the one in Paramus.

Oh, I thought that one closed. I used to stop in the Whippany one quite often back when I was working. Was called JR Cigars back then.
Years ago, before they opened the bar and smoking lounge, they had a large gift shop, and a perfume shop too. I went to the Paramus shop maybe two or three times.

#6269 33 days ago

Yes, it was JR. They had the same thing in Paramus. Now they have a bar and club area. I go to the one in Whippany for a mini herf about twice a year. Mostly we use Cigar Emporium in Lyndhurst.

Now that’s a respectably lengthy ash right there!

Some tasty stuff and one of my favorites....the Cuban Trinidad.....

Our friend just brought a bunch of stuff from his trip to Cuba ..... I asked for Partagas 2s and went through half of them last night.

Partagas 2's are a great cigar! Had some on our last trip to Grand Cayman and really enjoyed them.

HVC Broadleaf. This is probably the most full bodied Broadlead there is. Twice as stout as a Cromagnon! I love it!

Gotta get my hands on these. Most of the go to sites don't have them. Looks like Small Batch has a ton of HVC though.

I haven’t seen the HVC BL for sale in a while. I bought two boxes from a store that was going out of business last year

There's a few hanging around online, question is whether or not to pull the trigger and buy em.

I'm seeing some of the Limited Edition ones too. Are those the same?

Limited Edition Broadleaf or the 500th Anniversary Limited Edition? The 500th LE is amazing. Reminds me of a Party D4. Lots of flavor and very relaxing!

LE Broadleaf

I'm more of a Pro buyer myself

#6285 30 days ago

I haven’t seen the Limited Broadleaf, but I doubt you’d be disappointed. I still prefer the Cromagnon for Broadleaf, but the HVC is really good.

2020 HVC Black Friday. They just keep getting better. I’ve got about 20 left in the cabinet. I can’t wait to see how much better they’ll get over the years (if I can keep from smoking them all)

Happy Father’s Day bitches

Smoking pretty good, but really tight. I need to invest in a perfect draw. Compromised with the wife’s cocktail skewers and seems to have helped a bit

Happy Father’s Day!

Smoking some cool cigars. Then went to a Tatuaje event to see my friend Moe. Got hurt pretty bad in the wallet.....

Before I head into the office a bit late today-don’t judge me if I can’t get fired!

First of these I’ve had and I’m disappointed. There’s just not much going on. The coffee seemed to overpower all the flavor notes.

I feel like all their stuff needs more “power” except for some of the Monsters

Smoking that in front of EJS is like teasing a fat kid with a cake. That’s just plain mean!

There was plenty of strength, just no depth to the flavor.

I almost reached for one because of it. Was a long week so only had enough energy for a short story last night

It took me 2 days and 3 sittings to get through this one.

I remember when I could have two sticks in one sitting.
