I assume Expobrawl is on again this year. Can anyone confirm this? It's one of the things I most look forward to each year at Expo.

Yes. Chris sent out emails on Sept 14th. It didn't have costs in the email so I sent him an email asking for the details and haven't heard back yet. So sent him a FB message. Maybe he'll see that one.

Registration for ExpoBrawl 2015 is open!
As in 2014, this is a pin golf event that will be played on Friday 10/16
in the morning.
Teams will consist of two players and two teams will play together to
help validate scores for the other team. We will start the entire field
at the same time. The number of courses and holes will depend on the
number of players.
Pinball Expo wristbands must be purchased separately and are required to
enter the hall in order to participate in ExpoBrawl 2015.
If you have already emailed about registration I will get back with you
in the next couple of days.
I have emailed multiple times and still no reply.
My biggest question is WHAT TIME will this all happen? I want to be able to head over to pinexplosion and PBL by 1:30-2 but if the finals are really running till 5pm then I have no interest in playing.
I remember last year getting knocked out early from playoff and being at PBL by 1:00 at latest.

Not surprising as the info for the main expo tourney is in the same state of misinformation.

That looks like info from two years ago that hasn't been updated. They changed the format to Pingolf last year. No shirt and no lunch to get the prices down.

Agree.
Maybe keep pingolf for the qualifying round but I much prefer a head to head style for the playoffs
What made Expobrawl fun and different was that it was a team tournament. With the pingolf format, it's basically every man for themselves.
ExpoBrawl Golf format for the playoffs needs to change. Using score from qualifying and adding to it made playing in the playoffs non-rewarding for some teams as they couldn't move up at all no matter how they played in the playoffs. Hope they changed that for 2015.
