Basically, would you be interested in an "anti-pop" kind of device that would prevent the "pop" sound that most games make at power on (when the amp gets power). It's a common DC audio pop that high end stereo people have already solved long ago, but pinball still seems to have it. JJP has it on their latest machines.
I've been trying to design and produce my own solution for my own use that would be generic enough to work on older B/W games and newer JJP games, among others. It would hopefully be plug and play for at least both of these game manufacturer/eras. I don't know enough about other games to know if they have the issue or could easily work with this fix. I was talking to one of the larger audio mod manufacturers and they said they could be interested in producing a solution if there was enough interest.
I am sort of spitballing that it would be around $30, give or take. Plug and play, basically mute the game until after the amp gets power. No audio pop on startup and possibly no audio pop on power off. If there is enough interest the manufacturer could produce something commercially that is much smaller and easier to install than my proof of concept.
