We are building a custom head2head machine. I gave a talk at CCC about it last year after Christmas: https://media.ccc.de/v/33c3-8012-building_custom_pinball_machines.

We also got some drop target in the ramps to the other side. However, in our game we use two full size playfields which makes the machine kind of long. But this gives you the usual feel of a normal machine and we can use all the preexisting mechs.
