The only thing I can critizes is me not having the money to buy it and also the trolls piss me off.
Quoted from davewtf:Would you pick it if you were putting it on route in a location that earned well?
I can't imagine putting a MM out on route just because of the cost it takes to obtain them. For that same cost, I could buy two or three brand new Sterns to put out, and some of them are very strong earners too.
AP isn't a strong earner any more, but for the $10k difference, I would earn my money back on it faster than earning my money back on a MM, even for the lower earnings the AP would make.
Quoted from o-din:There were great games before MM, and there were great games after MM. For me it is just another great game. The only problem I have with it is how some people put it up on some kind of pedestal, and declare it the ruler of the pinball world.
Because it IS ruler of the pinball world!
Anyone who says different has an AGENDA!!!
What is YOUR agenda O-din?!
Quoted from goatdan:First off, I really like Mm. Having said that, I've had multiple chances to buy them and always have passed them up. Even when I was offered one for 4k...
I bet you feel like a goat now, Dan...err goatdan.
Quoted from Pimp77:I bet you feel like a goat now, Dan...err goatdan.
Heh.... Honestly, can't say that I do. I got way more fun out of the games that I bought for the same $4k then I would have out of owning just MM. I tend to not sell games that I get, so the difference would have been probably 5 of my DMD machines versus one MM. While I do think that MM is great (one of the few so called A listers I totally get), it isn't greater than five other games, some of which I do like more than it.
If you gave me $12k today and you can use it to buy a MM or some other machines, I would have a hard time NOT buying other machines with it. If you're willing to wait and do repairs, you can get probably 10 good DMD machines for that same price.
