I sold some a couple years ago. I did go with PGX but my comics were not anywhere near NM and none were golden age.
I made a quick $2600 selling them on eBay after getting them back from PGX. Not bad considering the cost...I would have made less if I had used CGC.
That being said if you have very valuable issues (worth over 1k), I would send them to CGC.
