    Hi,
I need a replacement for Bally/Williams A-12697-3 power driver board. No, the original board is fubar and can not be repaired anymore. The choices are:
    1. Rottendog (like from K's for $299)
    2. Pinball Medic's Part Number WPC89SPS Price $250
    3. Any other options I should consider?

    Thanks much
    Mike

    Quoted from IDrink2Much:

You can use ANY A-12697-3 OR -1 boards. They're completely interchangeable. I swapped a -3 with a -1 and vice versa on two WCS94's while conducting some troubleshooting on a corrupted ROM.

I googled for those without success. Any link where to find those boards?

    Quoted from PinballManiac40:

I sure like to see pictures of that original board. Just because a board may not look nice, does not mean it cannot be reliable.

The little rings on the through holes came out. The last repair snipped the legs of too short and I couldn't bend them back straight again. So when I tried to jiggle the components of the board those rings came out too. Besides it actually has a hole burned into it. Many traces were redone

    The pictures show:
    1. burned (existing damage, some traces exposed)
    2. entire board (It also has a sticker on it with ticket number (10689) from "Coin-op Services" with a warranty until 11/15/14)
    3. Rings in the holes for bridge damaged or missing. (I desoldered, bend the legs straight, but rings still came out.)
    4. previous repairs (this board had been through a lot)
