Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Why doesn't anybody like the pro?

Because the Angus face looks like a giant decal covering up a missing feature.

Quoted from HOOKED:

I had heard the only thing holding up rerun was royalty negotiations. Question is would they pony up to kiss rate, thats the only hurtle imo. Being another run would outsell kiss its a no brainer to me. Add to that the royalty cost is directly added to the bump up in price passed along to the consumer and its another winner for $tern.

I wonder if their deal for AC/DC on the Pinball Arcade app included some language that would allow for a physical re-release if Stern wanted to do it.

Don't bother me none!
Every AC/DC fan knows that's an absolutely iconic image from the highway to hell over.

Sure, but it doesn't match the rest of the art at all, and it's got the black outline around it in the exact shape of the lower playfield window. This was the first time they did a massively different Pro...started with the LE and then stripped away, and it shows. They've learned from that - look at Aerosmith Pro. Looks cohesive and complete, you wouldn't know anything was "missing".

Quoted from Manny10:

I strongly believe that the next 3 VE will be AC/DC, LOTR, and Tron.

I strongly believe you're wrong.

I'm hearing it might be something that rhymes with "Talking Fred" with comic book art.

Quoted from dmbjunky:

Whoa that would be weird considering they are still making them. Would they quit making the show version and the next day announce the comic version?
It would look great but you would lose the awesome music.

Is any of the music actually from the show? The voices certainly aren't.

Quoted from 27dnast:

Shrek and Family guy feel different because the sound and DMD are completely different... as is are the rules

The rules are exactly the same. Just the names and animation are different.

and I don't believe Stern is re-releasing TWD with comic art as the next VE.

Why not? Hand drawn art games sell well. TWD was based on a comic book to begin with. They've done this before with Spider-Man Vault & AC/DC Luci. And - with the game not even having voices from the show or video clips on the DMD, they can use the same audio & dots package...and it will probably fit better than it did originally!

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

It does. And of course, if you are used to playing AC/DC as it shipped, having the cannon up there really throws a player off.

Agreed. I loved the idea of it - but after I installed it, I didn't like it at all. Threw off my aim completely and just looked clunky. I went back to stock, but I did do the LED light panel mod that lights up the cannon plastics & TNT box when the plunger goes up and down. Thise look nice & feel functional/stock. I also love the Pinbits bolts and the 3D printed wood block for the bell. Oh, and the crossover ramp decal. That's about as far as I went with mods for ACDC.
